Очень хорошее жильё! Чисто, аккуратно, тепло, горячая вода и всё необходимое в наличии. Хозяйка дружелюбная и очень старается помочь. Я останавливалась на 4 ночи и успела подружиться с пёсиком Арчи. Он очарователен!

Maureen made us feel like we had known her for ages. She was warm and friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the room was comfortable and quiet, and we were well placed to enjoy most of Skye. Definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Maureen’s very cosy cottage. She was so kind to us, warmly welcoming us and giving us useful tips about routes and activities on the magnificent Skye island, while providing us with a big thermos of coffee for the day. The breakfast she served was delicious and plentiful, the bedroom we had was very comfortable (furnitures, TV, shower, tea and coffee bags…), and the house is adequately located near the famous Coral Beach where we had a picnic watching the sunset (with towels and plates kindly provided by Maureen). We strongly recommend!

Increíble estancia. La casa se encuentra en medio de la naturaleza, a escasos pasos de una playa preciosa y a pocos minutos en coche de Kilt Rock o Old Man of Storr. Las instrucciones de Elizabeth nos ayudaron a encontrar la casa sin problema. Además, se tomó el tiempo de incluir indicaciones en la hoja de bienvenida pensando en todo lo que podríamos necesitar: restaurantes recomendados con sus menús, sitios qué visitar etc. La habitación y el baño estaban impecables. Elizabeth nos dejó un desayuno súper completo para cada día en la habitación, además de café y té. Nos sentimos como en casa. Una experiencia maravillosa en uno de los lugares más bonitos de Escocia. Muchísimas gracias a Elizabeth por su amabilidad!

Isabel and Stuart are wonderful hosts! From the very clear directions finding the place to the customized local recommendations for our interests, we could not ask for better hosts. Isabel accommodated my gluten free diet for breakfast, which was a bonus to begin with. Bernisdale was a perfect location for all we wanted to explore in Isle of Skye. Getting greeted by Pippin in the mornings was a highlight of our stay. We're so grateful for our visit at the School House!

We had a wonderful couple of days staying with Alasdair and Ross. Easy and interesting conversation, comfortable accommodation, and delicious home-cooked breakfast. It felt like staying with a friend whilst enjoying being in the most fabulous location.

Enjoyed our stay and Joan's personal hospitality. Breakfast was very filling selection of oatmeal, breads, and yogurt choices (no egg or meats). The place is north of Portree close to the hikes and other stops on the peninsula, but is quite a drive from Portree with no restaurant options so that is something to consider. It worked for us because we were driving everywhere both days anyway and could stop in Portree easily to eat.

Séjour merveilleux dans un endroit paisible et chaleureux. Stuart et Isabel sont des hôtes attentifs, prévenants et généreux. La chambre est très confortable et spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner est servi avec des confitures maison en même temps que de bons conseils pour organiser la journée. Je recommande vivement !!

We had a very comfortable two night stay on the North Coast 500. The room was exactly like the photos and a beautiful view out of the window. Lush carpet, great bedding. Bathroom was very nice and lots of towels and quality lotions. Tea and coffee making in the room. Cafetière and kettle with all you need to make those drinks including milk in the room fridge. Breakfast was served to the room and it was delicious and big enough to get us through most of the day. We had evening food at Beachcomber the first night and Sands the seconds. Sands was especially good. Boxes all ticked thanks.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Glenview. The room was very clean and cosy, big enough, with a very comfortable bed. We had our own private bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and very filling. Kirsty and her husband were very friendly and recommended some really beautiful places to see. We recommend staying at the Glenview wholeheartedly.

Vicki and John were incredible! John was there to help us inside as soon as we arrived and we got to meet Vicki shortly there after! Both made us feel so welcomed and their sweet pup greeted us, tail wagging and ready for love! The home was stunning! The setting was so peaceful and breathtaking! Our room was so lovely and the bathroom was incredible with a beautiful tub that was so nice to use after a day of hiking. We ate at the Stein Inn, which was so nice! I am gluten free and was worried about not being able to have options, but they had an amazing gluten free fish and chips, so we are grateful John and Vicki suggested to go there. And it’s just a short walk from their home! The breakfast provided was so nice! Homemade bread my husband said was delicious and they also had gluten free bread available for me, yogurt, egg, etc. We left one more early to hike and they went above and beyond to ensure we had food prior to leaving. Our favorite place we stayed our entire trip!

Isabella was a very friendly, attentive and helpful host. The room has a gorgeous view over the valley that took our breath away! We felt very much at home, and Isabella was so helpful and made us feel incredibly welcome. Would definitely recommend for a scenic and peaceful stay on Skye!

Karen wrote clear instructions in advance which helped our arrival. There was a parking space at the front and the self check in was smooth. The room and toilet were clean and spacious, and the bed was really comfortable. You had to choose part of the breakfast the night in advance, but it was fulfilling. If we would come again we would stay here for sure!

This place exceeded my expectations. Glyn was a super helpful host and there were a few things that stood out while there - The decor was super fun: a mix of quirky, classy, country, and very comfortable; the views of the fields and coastline out front and bunnies out back were fantastic; and the level of effort and quality put into breakfast was amazing (they thought of everything). It felt like I was staying in a relative's home, although Glyn would offer a few helpful bits I needed and then he left me alone. There are few items that didn't dampen my stay and can't be changed but are worth mentioning - If you're about 5'11" (I am), you'll need to duck your head in a few spots, while being over 6'2" would probably mean a lot more ducking; be prepared to get creative at making space to do your hair and makeup (it's an old country cottage so I expected it); and the roads on Isle of Skye are not for the faint hearted. Lol. Ultimately I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay with Morag, we felt very welcome straight away and really enjoyed the beautiful homemade granola, bread and shortbread! There were some lovely walks straight from the house and we made the most of the lovely weather we had by exploring as much as possible! It's an amazing location for wildlife and we loved how our stay was contributing to bird of prey charities. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone who loves wildlife.

Spending one night at helen's place was memorable. She has been extremely kind and we felt warmly welcomed. She offered a diner wich was for us a massive plus after cycling all day towards Balinavich. We had great discussions and we learned a lot as well from the hebridies. Thank you very much Helen.
