BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE guests may reserve the wood fired cedar hot tub and the sauna, which are close by and private, at an additional charge. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

(Wi-Fi speed excellent, though I was not able to use AirB&B's official Wi-Fi measurement option.) *Please be aware, we are on an island, which must be accessed by boat or ferry, so service can be interrupted. there's a gym at the Community Center, $10/day pass.

Ocean View Beach Loft Carriage House Lincolnville

This charming spot overlooking the bay is laid back and welcoming. Fully furnished, including linens, basic beach supplies —towels, chairs and umbrella. There is wi-fi and a Roku TV included (you will need your own streaming accounts), an air conditioner, and balcony with a view of Penobscot Bay. We strive to be an allergen free space so do not allow animals. We use all essential oil natural products (bleach disinfectant where needed) and natural laundry soap for our linens.

Property is located on US route 1- just 6 miles north of Camden (8 minute drive), and less than 15 minutes to the south of Belfast. This year-round cottage provides a lovely retreat for resting while exploring all the Midcoast has to offer

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This cottage is on the Island of Islesboro, accessed by car ferry from Lincolnville, private plane, or private boat. Located at the end of a mile long, private road, this guest house is situated right on the shorefront on West Penobscot Bay. It shares a driveway that accesses this cottage and the owner’s home. Watch sailboats and eagles from the front porch. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves.

Our cabin is situated on nearly 2 peaceful acres with direct waterfront on a tidal pond - a calm and quiet body of water fed by the ocean. You can hear the soothing sounds of the tidal waterfall when the tide is changing. Swim from the private dock and enjoy the warm water or just lounge on the Adirondack chairs or hammock. We have 4 paddle boards that convert to kayaks, a dingy that accommodates 2-4, a corn hole set and a fire pit for your use.

Looking over Penobscot Bay, "The Dory" is a perfect place to relax and enjoy island life. Set on a dead end street in a quite neighborhood it is easy to connect with nature either in the hammock, on the lawn or on the beach. The screened in porch has a great view of the bay to watch the sunrise or sunset. We can put you in touch with a local fisherman for some fresh lobster or mussels.
