The house was great. clean, lots of towels, loved the hot tub. There are two things I would point out. The steps to the upstairs are very hard for people with mobility issues but there are four bedrooms on first floor. There are two single steps on the first floor.

We had a wonderful stay here. It was refreshing to take a break from work and immerse ourselves in nature, surrounded by such beautiful scenery. The house was in great condition—clean, well-maintained, and fully functional. We especially enjoyed kayaking at Morgan’s property and found the whole experience to be incredibly peaceful. Harper’s Ferry is a charming town with plenty to explore over a weekend.

Our recent stay at Guy and Sarah’s Airbnb in Harper’s Ferry was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, the cleanliness and thoughtful touches throughout the house were immediately apparent. The Scandinavian design of the home added a sense of peace and calm that made our stay exceptionally relaxing. As a family of five, we thoroughly enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, making meal preparations convenient and an absolute pleasure. The cozy rooms, accentuated by the tranquil interior design, provided the perfect setting for relaxation. One unexpected gem was the extensive book collection. I discovered several titles that captured my interest so much that I plan to purchase them for my collection. Guy and Sarah were incredibly responsive and accommodating, enhancing our overall experience with their attentiveness. We wish our visit could have been longer, but we are already planning our return. Next time, we hope to share this excellent find with another set of friends.

Lots of open space. Very nice neighborhood. Large home great for large groups. Nice fire pit.

We loved Claudine’s home. We live in an old home ourselves and know that old homes are such a labor of love and it’s obvious Claudine takes great pride in her home. Claudine was an excellent host, she also provided us with updates as a big storm was coming in. The home was very close to the historical district, and Shepherd University. There was a lot of space for our family to spread out in. We will definitely be back. Thank you Claudine!

My husband, dog, and I had a great time! We stayed for two nights on the weekend. The place is definitely not easy to find on your own but Tara gave great instructions! We did have a truck, so it was easier to navigate up the hill in the snow, but for others, I would keep that in mind. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything you'd want, a hot pot stove, coffee machine, coffee, and a toaster oven. And the bed was really comfortable. 12 minute drive into Harper's Ferry, and walking distance to the closest C&O trail. Would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful place to relax and unwind. Huge yard to enjoy many yard games and large fire pit area. This was our second time staying here and its for a good reason. The house is great with many levels and deck space. Our favorite part is the floating deck on the water. We enjoyed fishing, getting our feet wet and tubing.

The lower level private entrance apartment was very nice with all new furnishings, comfortable bed and sofa, smart TV, plenty of books and games. The kitchen was well appointed with high end small appliances ( microwave oven, toaster oven, single pan cooktop, Ninja coffee maker and an under the counter with complimentary goodies ( sweet muffins English Muffins, butter, cream cheese, Starbucks ground coffee and orange juice) and some small bag snacks (popcorn and chips). The bathroom was very nice with plenty of towels and complimentary shampoo and conditioner. Judy was a very gracious and friendly host with quick responses to any questions or sought after recommendations. She gave us 4 wineries to try and we loved all 4 of them. You can’t go wrong with this Airbnb.

Cindy's place was AMAZING! She truly thought of everything. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The apartment was thoughtfully decorated with sweet little nooks to relax and enjoy the scenery. There was even a dog shower in the garage for the dogs when we got back from a muddy hike. I will definitely return!

Fantastic! Very clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay there again! Secluded and quiet. Be aware that the very last bit of the road is gravel, so watch out with very low clearance sports cars.

My husband and I were very pleased with our lodging. The photos and description were accurate. The rooms were very clean and even though it was still cold out, the heating inside was perfect. We loved how quiet the area was. Out side at night you could hear the proverbial "pin drop". We were within walking distance to all attractions. I would absolutely stay at this location again.

Excellent host. Very clean place, beautiful property. Laura was amazing. It was like staying with a good friend. We bought some of her eggs and delicious honey. We would definitely stay there again. My wife and I and our fur babies will miss Laura, Jerald, and Dasher.

This was our first experience staying in Charles Town and this peaceful little spot was the perfect location for everything we needed. A great spot for two people for a long weekend, we would definitely come back! Butch is probably the kindest host I've had contact with during my travels.

John’s place was perfect for our overnight trip to spend time with friends s short distance away in Purcellville. It was clean, comfortable and in a beautiful quiet country setting. Thanks for a great stay!

Peaceful and well appointed, this is the perfect spot to get away! Close to Bear Chase and tons of wineries...there's so much to do nearby. Beautiful views, super clean and comfortable. And the host was amazing! Can't wait to return!

This was a beautiful cabin tucked away in a serene community. The cabin was well stocked with towels, linens, and kitchen utensils. We appreciated the cozy atmosphere and fireplace. Every room served its purpose well and was extremely inviting. Our kids enjoyed the hammock and running around in the back yard without getting too close to the water. It felt safe, calm, and very homely. The internet connection was great! Whatever we forgot to bring for the kitchen was already there. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for being a wonderful host and so responsive. The property exceeded our expectations!

We loved our lodging accommodations! There was a full kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, etc. for those interested in cooking. There was even coffee, creamer and sugar which we thoroughly enjoyed. .The living room was large and very comfortable with lots of cozy comforters for chilly nights. The bedroom had a queen size mattress that was extremely comfy with a very beautiful comforter and fine quality sheets. Also access to the dock overlooking the Shenandoah River was serene; relaxing and beautiful. There were many other features that we did not use, ie, hot tub, etc. due to our short stay. Also, we loved all of the local restaurants and others in the surrounding areas. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

Herry's place was beautifully decorated and very clean. The projector felt like we were in a theater watching a movie. It was perfect for movie night and our snacks from the general store nearby. The hot tub was winner and so easy to use! His guidebook was very useful to find great recommendations for places to eat. Overall, it was a great weekend getaway for the family.

This home was lovely! The host clearly takes great care to keep the home stocked with essentials. The kitchen was fully stocked; including plenty of coffee for the coffee pot. I’ve never stayed in an AirBNB with as many towels as they provided which is a small luxury but something our group noted and really appreciated. The host sent clear instructions and was proactive and friendly. The roads to the home may be difficult to navigate in inclement weather, but we got lucky with wonderful, warm weather! If your vehicle doesn’t travel well on back roads, I would just be cautious in the area. I would definitely stay here again, this home is a hidden gem!?

Absolutely beautiful house and very peaceful location. Loved our stay. A lot of nice features for a large family. So many different areas and things to do that it doesn’t feel crowded. Theatre room, arcade game room, hot tub, 2 different outdoor fire pits, gazebo, hammock, Walking trail….. Will definitely visit again!

We had a great time relaxing at Mary-Lou's place. We took a ladies's trip-train ride for the weekend and stayed in Shenandoah Junction. There were so many things to see and do. We hiked, we barbecued, we played games and chatted. Nobody had any complaints. The host was very accommodating but we didn't have to ask for much because it was all laid out for us. The binder provided, had color pictures and descriptions on how to operate things. The kitchen was rustic-chic and very spaceous. We had a travel-chef from Sweet Robbins Kitchen prepare dinner and Brunch for us. She said she wished that every kitchen was as well stocked and organized as this one. The beds were comfortable and 'abundant'. Just book it! There were 10 ladies and no complaints.

Beautifully restored large cabin. Pristine. Lovely in all ways. Fabulous kitchen and great room, huge lower level for extra space, wonderful new master, and great deck and backyard. Lots of space inside . Owners have put a tremendous amount of time and attention into making this a super comfortable and appealing place . Hiking options all around the area. Super convenient to the wedding venue Rosemont, where we were going, and easy access on and off the main road. As such, you can hear the traffic a bit and you are not in the woods/countryside, although the house is quite set back from the big road . For some this may be a factor plus or minus, so take into consideration . Overall, we were very happy. Thank you!
