The water usually runs cool and clear plus you’ll enjoy the fantastic dark night sky. Pass quiet hours in a screened porch rocking chair & catch an occasional train passing by (avg. 4-6 daily). With a huge front lawn, guests will also appreciate the lengthy river frontage and 2 large ponds. Enjoy seasonal hiking, biking, quading, foraging, snowmobiling, fishing, swimming & hunting.

Fully equipped all seasons 2 bedrooms w/1 luxury qbed in each, walk-in shower, full size kitchen appliances. Private enclosed hot tub, steam sauna, outdoor cold shower/reopening in Spring 2026, screen porch. Campfire pit w/comp firewood. We offer all amenities you need to have an amazing stay. We are nestled in the hillside, surrounded by forest & wildlife. Pet friendly during the months of May-October. Great news, the snowmobile and ATV trails are located just 2 minutes from the cottage! When given the opportunity, this is the perfect escape to view deer and wild turkeys! Take an adventure wheeling, snowmobiling, snowshoeing or hiking. End the day with a bonfire and star gazing or snuggle up by the indoor wood stove. You decide it's your vacation to enjoy!

Salmon Hill Loft

The loft has approx. 900 square feet of open space with a natural and comfortable atmosphere to relax or work. Well stocked kitchen, groomed nature trails to hike, ski or snow shoe. The main house has a hot tub that is private and for your enjoyment during your stay where you can enjoy the breathtaking Saint John River view. Did you know that ranked in the seven most scenic drives in the world is The Saint John River!! Plus, nighttime offers the Milky Way and more!

Gram's Cabin

Gram's Cabin is the perfect place to rest on your hiking trip to Mt. Carleton, or to unwind on a hunting excursion. Secluded yet modern accommodations include a furnished kitchen and Starkink WiFi to stay in touch with the world. The Cabin is accessible by car, via Route 108. With accommodations for 6, and room for more, this is the ideal spot for a retreat. Gram’s cabin is 20 minutes from Plaster Rock, and 40 minutes from Mount Carleton.

Apple Tree Cottage Tiny Home

Come and see what Tiny Home living is all about! This cute little cottage is nestled along a big apple tree. Our rustic queen bed cabin is a cute, relaxing little getaway for two with a big screened in porch. We're located along the main ATV trail, just pull right in! There are thirty-seven acres with hiking trails throughout, and Big Brook borders one side of the property. Enjoy our Northern Maine getaway!
