We had a last minute ferry from Kodiak into Homer and Mike's place fit our needs perfectly. He was understanding about our situation and very kind about us and our dogs needing a place at the last minute. He was always responsive and his place helped us to feel at home during a off kilter move out of Alaska. I would come stay here any time I am in Homer, absolutely recommend to everyone I can!

We had an amazing time staying at this cabin in Homer, AK! It was absolutely perfect for us—quiet, cozy, and close to town but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. The view of the mountains from the front porch was breathtaking, and we were even lucky enough to spot a moose in the neighborhood! The cabin itself was impeccably cared for, with everything feeling new and thoughtfully designed. Although we didn’t use the upstairs room, it would be perfect if you’re traveling with one or two kids. You can really tell that a lot of love and attention went into making this cabin a welcoming and comfortable retreat. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and scenic stay in Homer!

The stay at Whale view retreat was spectacular. The views were great and the house was very comfortable. It was everything promised and more!

What a view!!! Cannot be beat! Connie was very responsive to our questions. The bungalow was spotless, very clean. It was stocked with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and fans in every room. We did t need the fan for our stay, but it was nice to know they were there if we needed. We saw a bald eagle fly by every night. And a bull moose was seen in the yard one morning. Watched him through the kitchen window. Thanks Connie for sharing your place with us. We hope to return again. And if we do, we will definitely stay here!

Such a sweetly situated and lovely home!! We all loved it and felt more than comfortable. The home had nooks and crannies full of Alaska findings and spacious views of the canal and neighboring historic homes. It was such a pleasure to stay here!!!

A cute duplex cabin, good for two groups that travel together like we did. My daughter and I shared a queen bed in one unit and four friends shared the two beds in the other unit. Nice porch for admiring the views. The sofa in our unit may be used for sleeping, but we didn't try. We would stay again.

This a fantastic space for large families/groups visiting Homer. Great location and the house is huge with a great view! Well appointed kitchen and comfy beds. The host was very quick to respond when needed. I knocked off a star because although the house sleeps 14, the kitchen table is only for six and there is no deck furniture exept four Adirondack chairs. The view is so pretty that spending time out on the deck or around fire pit is something everyone will enjoy.

Stellavera was extremely helpful setting up the reservations despite being early in the season. Kelli met me and showed me around. Kelli and Shane are so laid back and easy going, and made me feel comfortable and welcome. The cabin is rustic and simple and is everything I dreamed of. Even the outhouse was nice and was a winner of the “Well Stocked “ award. I was warm enough and had access to extra blankets if needed. I had access to anything I needed to cook with or on. Kelli was a text away and very responsive as was Stellavera. The Homestead is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited and I hope to return someday. I walked down to the beach and spent most of the day before returning for lunch. I was allowed to explore the Fox Cabin and walk around the hayfields to my hearts content. I’m grateful for the privilege to experience such an amazing place.

The view from the room was awesome, loved listening to the waves as we slept. Enjoyed our walks on the beach. Room was a good size for us. Also loved the Panini sandwich we got for lunch. Overall, was good spot for our 2 day stay.

What an amazing property with spectacular views! The house was very clean and looks exactly like the photos. Our host was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely book again on our next trip to Homer!

Couldn’t have picked a better place for me and my dogs. Super private very nice host, the cutest amenities and she even had food and drinks which was very handy being out in the almost middle of no where. 10/10

Oh my it’s hard to with words say how wonderful this spot it. There’s literally no way to be disappointed if you choose it. Gorgeous property, hosts are wonderful and will help with anything (even a flat tire). The location is perfect so close to Homer but feel like you’re in the woods. It’s comfortable and has everything you might need. Carol and Wally have thought of it all. The nature around there home is breathtaking.

My husband and I enjoyed a quiet, peaceful first night away from our daughter. The hot tub was huge so we were able stretch out, the kitchen had everything we needed and we were even given breakfast vouchers to a local bakery ☺️ It was clean, cozy and perfect for a quiet getaway!

Our family had a great stay here, and we will be staying here again in the future. Reenie and John are great hosts, and they made the stay super comfortable and enjoyable! Also the views from the hot tub after a day of fishing were awesome to come back to! We will stay here again, and I highly recommend this stay!

Exactly what i was looking for in a relaxing staycation close to town. The view is great, the hot tub is hot and its set up nice and cozy inside. I would stay here again

Lovely place with incredible views of Homer and the spit. We rented both units and it was perfect for a large group. The owner was very welcoming, easy to communicate with, and accommodated the requests we had. The home is conveniently located by various restaurants and other vendors such as Safeway which made our stay more convenient and enjoyable!

Fantastic property - hard to leave but we’ll be back. We’ve stayed in Airbnb’s all over the world and this is truly special. So much beauty and the property is gorgeous without being over the top. We feel like we really experienced Alaska in an authentic and non-touristy way. The Tidepool Cabin is fantastic. Beautiful views in every direction and so eclectic. Kristi, Julian, Tomas and Elliott were perfect hosts and went above and beyond to accommodate. The kayaking was spectacular and daily interaction with sea otters and eagles was incredible. Thank you Kristi for a most excellent adventure!!!!!!!

Heaven on earth comes with a hot tub! Wow this place is breathtaking! High end touches with a real lodge feel. I have never experienced such a perfect spot from the privacy, beautiful grounds, unbelievable view, great hospitality and even complimentary breakfast. 10/10 couldn’t possibly reccomend anything as much as this sweet spot! Worth every penny and then some!

Have stayed at westwind cabins multiple times and it is my go-to while visiting Homer, It is a great location with beautiful views, cozy cabins, and the nordic spa is pristine, always look forward to a visit!!
