Neat and tidy comfortable stay for age of property. Very comfortable bed and coverings. Was warm quiet...bonus having garage acess.

One of my family’s favorite stays and extremely comfortable. Bjorn greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour, including how to use the heated floors in the bathrooms! He is friendly and my family enjoyed chatting with him. The location is stunning, across the street from the bay and a walking/biking path. Everything in the unit is expertly furnished. The couches are very comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and had enough counter space for everyone’s toiletries. This was also the only place we stayed that had a dryer. There is another Airbnb upstairs who we saw park shortly after us but we didn’t hear anything. Another unit is next door on the first floor (well separated by a divider on the patio) but we didn’t see or hear anything during our stay. Overall great place and we were sad to leave after 1 night. The peninsula drive there is beautiful too.

The room was quite new and well-equipped. However, the location description was not accurate — it actually takes about 15 minutes on the highway to reach Dunedin, as the property is located in a nearby small town, not in Dunedin itself.

Yiling 's apartment was a treasure. Spacious, clean, comfortable...like new. Yiling was always responsive, and even picked our luggage up from the bus station, so my 90 year old friend didn't have to drag it 1 kilometer, as we explored town before our early check-in. I would be happy to stay here on my next visit.

Comfy and clean, had everything we needed for a great 2 night stay. Well stocked kitchen and the kids were impressed with the size of the TV! Easy access to the city for all the attractions and places to eat - The Best Cafe was a great find for gluten free fish and chips! Thanks for having us :)

Our stay at Woodhaugh Cottage was so wonderful. House was beautiful inside, warm, and had everything we needed. Mel was so responsive to our messages and was a wonderful host! Would definitely stay here again next time we visit dunedin!

A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the amazing views in a comfortable & cozy holiday home. It was so good to find accommodation that is genuinely dog friendly. It is walking distance to the river and beach. We really loved our 4 night stay here and thank you Lisa for sharing your home & being such a great host.

A Magical Step Back in Time Staying at this nearly 150-year-old farmhouse was like stepping into a Hollywood movie set—think timeless charm, rustic beauty, and that cozy, lived-in feeling you can only find in places with real history. The house is absolutely stunning, with original character beautifully preserved. From the creaky wooden floors to the vintage details in every room, it felt like a warm hug from the past. It’s the kind of place where you just want to curl up with a book by the window or sit outside with a cup of coffee and take in the peaceful surroundings. It was incredibly cozy, and you can tell the owners have poured love into maintaining its old soul while making it feel like home. If you’re looking for a unique, soul-soothing escape with serious old-house movie vibes, this is it. I didn’t want to leave!

We stayed a couple of nights at Rose Cottage and it was very enjoyable. The house is immaculately clean with very comfortable beds, a good squishy couch, and plenty of essentials for a comfortable stay. Great location, easy to find and well fenced/safe if you have little ones in your party. 10/10 would stay again!

A wonderful house in a great neighbourhood. Perfect for our weekend away. As it’s their home the kitchen and ammenities were really well equipped so we had everything we could need. We were walking distance to the events we came to town for so couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend for a place to stay in Dunedin.

What a beautiful home and right on theme, with Steampunk Oamaru. We loved the decor and the cool pottery. The beds were so comfortable. We felt at home, warm and cozy. The location was great, just a 12-15 min walk to the old town centre. We couldn’t fault it, thank you Andrew and Mary for being wonderful hosts.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was clean, fuss-free, and beautifully maintained. The views were absolutely stunning, and the location was convenient for exploring the area. A great base for our family—highly recommended!
