Efthimia's house

Efthimia's house is a traditional stone house situated in the old neighborhood of Kavousi village, between the two byzantine churches of Saint George and Twelve Apostles. The history of this house includes a true love story and marriage during the years of the 1 rst World War of my Great-granparents Efthimia and Michalis. About 100 years later my fother and i decided to restore and renovate this traditional house with much love and respect and to offer a real Cretan experience to our guests.

Ondanks dat je hier weinig toeristen tegenkomt, is het dorp het hele jaar door levendig en is er meer dan genoeg te ontdekken.
