The carpenter's cottage is decorated in vintage woodworking and logging tools that have been used for several generations in our family. Rainier has a rich history of logging, lumber and woodworking. Some tools have been found nearby. Enjoy a peaceful country setting with deer, birds, occasional bobcat, squirrels, raccoons, occasional elk, but is a short walk to town. Watch deer munch on apples and relax in the shade as you walk around our 14 acres or enjoy them from your windows.

We would love to share our home with you! The Pacific Northwest is such a beautiful place to live, stay, visit, hike, and enjoy the nature that surrounds us in this area. Our home is nestled in the outskirts of Kelso/Longview Washington. We have a duplex with long term downstairs tenants, and you would have full access to the upstairs. Our chickens are excited to have visitors. We believe that our home is perfect to host a group or family.
