Quaint, convenient neighborhood walking distance to UMF and downtown Farmington. Franklin Memorial Hospital is a short drive. Sugarloaf and Rangeley areas are 45 minutes. WIFI and smart TVs. (No cable.) Washer/Dryer with detergent available. Great place to stay for exploring Maine or a visit with your family and friends.

This is our family camp, with our own books, games, and “vibe”. It is not a hotel, and some things may not be “industry standard”. Everything is very close to our location. There's a Hannafords nearby, Maine General Hospital and many restaurants, schools and stores. We are located on a private dead-end driveway .

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
