Our converted milking parlour in the heart of the York plain is a unique one bed, self contained tiny house! With access to York and the surrounding area, it is a perfect place for a weekend away or a longer stay for business, retreat, escape. There is a bus that runs from just outside to York. They do not run at the weekends during winter and never on a Sunday. There is a train station 3 miles away. Parking is available on the road. There is a shop 2 minutes away. No pets or children.

“Manor Croft” is a quaint detached cottage on a picture postcard village green at the bottom of the garden of Manor Cottage, enjoying complete privacy and has been tastefully refurbished and modernised including high speed WiFi connection and a smart TV. The kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, gas hob and electric oven and washing machine. The cottage has Gas fired Central Heating and is fully double-glazed, with French Windows that lead out onto a fully enclosed and private patio area.

An oasis of peace and tranquility, The Rose Wing at Red Hill Farm offers a quiet country get away. Relax and be refreshed by nature. Fall asleep to the sound of tawny owls and awake to a symphony of bird song - oh, and Eccles! The cockerel. We don’t hear him but you might! Ear plugs available if required. Set in an acre of garden with woodland, regular visitors include hedgehogs, badgers, foxes and occasionally deer. And without the city lights, you’ll be amazed by the sky at night!

The property is a beautiful maisonette at Station House, an iconic grade 2 listed former railway station built in 1841 .The history of the building can still clearly be seen; indeed your accommodation is in the old waiting rooms overlooking the station platform. Tours of the rest of the site may be available on request, including the old goods shed. Guests have access to the public footpath/cycle way adjacent to the property along the old railway line.
