This single storey dog friendly cottage, comfortably sleeps 2 and has the use of a large garden. You’ll love Great Salkeld with its excellent village pub, ancient church and its many countryside walks. The village is set in the tranquil Eden Valley, close to the river Eden. Just 10 miles from the Lake District National Park, it makes an ideal base from which to explore this stunning region.

The Cottage is a Grade 2* listed building fully restored in 2019 which has been modernised for comfort and carefully maintained. It is situated in the centre of the pretty historic market town of Penrith within easy walking reach of several good restaurants. Penrith is in the centre of Cumbria, with the Lake District on the doorstep. There is a pretty south-facing cottage garden full of flowers in the front - with a patio sitting area. There is private designated parking and visitor parking.

Peaceful and self-contained, but just across the courtyard from our Victorian farmhouse, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay with a well-equipped kitchen and wifi. The property is set on a smallholding in a picturesque Cumbrian village at the bottom of Hartside pass.

Glamping barn. A traditional barn divided in to two, available to book individualy for six in the Byre side, four in Thorny side or together for ten. This is for Thorny crag if you would like to book for both for a group of twelve please also book The Byre glamping barn Only accessible by foot 1/2 mile walk. Located on the Dash farmland, remote and secluded with spectacular views onto Skiddaw and Bassenthwaite Lake. The nearest shops are eight miles away.

It is a peaceful, rural setting in striking distance of the Lake District, the Eden Valley and the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage is less than 1 mile from the delightful village of Greystoke and about a 10 min drive from the M6/A66/A6. The cottage is great for families, couples, solo or business travellers. Set in the beautiful Eden Valley with stunning views of the river and the Pennine hills beyond. A short walk to the village of Armathwaite which has two excellent pubs and a local village shop open 7 days a week. Delightful walks along the riverbank.
