We had a rabbit show up in the front yard on Easter morning! Such a beautiful and well-stocked house. The beds are incredibly comfortable with an abundance of pillows and warm comforters. The couch and ottoman were so welcoming! And the views from the 'Birds Nest' room at the top are gorgeous. We played 'Cranium' and had great meals at the large dining table, a super special visit! We loved Kurt and Summyr's pretty home and felt so welcome. Hope to come back whenever we come to White Salmon to visit family. John and Eleanor

Great cabin! Clean, comfy, and close to food and more. The property was well maintained, and the cabin was comfortable. Check in was easy and check out was a breeze. No issues, and we’d happily return.

The grain elevators are the only structure in the neighborhood, taller than this house. The top floor of the house is visible blocks away. The small town of Goldendale floats amid rolling, green hills just north of the Columbia gorge. We enjoyed everything about our stay here. The small town vibe. The eclectic and well presented furnishings. The fact that everything was spic and span and it wasn't us who had to clean it all. The red house has experienced so many incarnations over the years ... intermixed with fun and seriously engaging art on the walls, are many depictions of the house in a variety of media. The only place where there are more pictures of the house than inside the house itself, is on the internet. I Google lensed a picture and ... this place is famous. For good reason. The house is historic, fun, clean, comfortable, entertaining and handsome. But you don't care about that. You want to know if there are spatulas and good water pressure. Yes. All is well.

It was easy to relax at the Yurt! Hot tub exceeded expectations, and the other amenities were excellent too. Would book again.

Location was great for a relaxing weekend, close enough to drive to white salmon or hood river for activities. House was in a private area and felt so peaceful, the pups loved the open space. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be back in the future.

In spring each year I take a solo silent retreat & this cottage was perfect for unplugging, getting away from city noise, syncing with the sun, & giving my nervous system the chance to fully relax. There's Wi-Fi if you open the bedroom window & place your phone on the sill. However, it's a wonderful opportunity for a pile of books, art projects, meditation, &--best of all--watching the weather form over the Columbia River, the trees in the wind, the animals (deer, elk, turkey, eagles), & the sunrise. I didn't leave the property at all during my week stay. Bring hiking socks/boots to walk through the wooded areas for the burrs that hitch a ride. As an extremely light sleeper, I slept peacefully without earplugs by closing the bedroom door & letting the shower sprayer hang down gently to keep it from dripping. Train & traffic sounds are faint enough to not be intrusive & I never once heard a train horn. Fantastic hike/view 15 min away at Tom McCall/Rowena area. Highly recommend!

This home was very cozy and welcoming, the perfect place to relax as a family. We loved the style and comfort and had a great time playing board games around the big kitchen table. We stayed here with our pup and he enjoyed the yard and had no problems with the neighbor or their chickens.

Great place to stay. So clean and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. We loved it and will be back for sure.

just a great little slice of heaven, river right out the back door. Be aware that there are other tiny houses that are occupied very close. they are nice and pleasant and respectful, but if your looking for total seclusion without other people that won't be the case. All in all it was absolutely wonderful. Oma is a very nice person to interact with as well.
