Lovely home away from home. Very peaceful with no traffic or other noise. Great views, and the house is spacious for indoor and outside living. Julie was very helpful, offering local recommendations, quick to respond and even gave one of our children a lift when he got dropped off and had a long walk back to the house. All in all a great spot, the wildlife around the estate was a treat and within a short drive of some great pubs and restaurants. Can thoroughly recommend.

Beate home is truly a "home away from home". Each day I went into Durban, I looked forward to getting home. The home is tastefully designed. She just bought a new wooden table for 6. All the wood in the house matches the lush garden that you're surrounded by. :-) Anything you can possible need is in the home. Beate is also lovely enough to get whatever you may need. Walking distance to anything you need. I really enjoy this home!

Lindsey was a great host. This was our second time staying at her place. Her communication is exceptional. We enjoyed every bit of it. We felt right at home. Lindsey is a thoughtful and caring person, she made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We always enjoy our time at her place, from the view of the ocean to the wonderful helper Dorris who is so friendly and kind. We definitely will be back for another stay soon! The house was tranquil and peaceful. I would highly recommend visiting Lindsey’s place for a nice getaway. Thank you so much for being so caring and accommodating during our stay and for such a warm welcome.

A little gem. The accomodation beeing spacious , clean , perfect private setting . Tucked away yet close to it all . Wish i could spend longer at the property . will surely return . The host was brilliant , responding almost instant . If you dont book here u surely missing out on a great experience . suggestion JP maybe a reading lamp in the second room .

This is my second time staying here and it was absolutely amazing. The place still looks as beautiful as it did in 2022. The place is well looked after. The beds a VERY comfortable (I need the name please🙈). Overall sis Lulu’s place is worth every cent and I will definitely be going back again. Sis Lulu I know my toddler was a bet loud apologies for that 🙏🏾.

I don't know where to begin - views from every window, be it the sea or the beautiful city. A plethora of eateries for every palette, from high end restaurants to quick takeaway options. Shopping convenience from grocery stores to standard retail. All of this in walking distance. An example is popping out for sunscreen at Dischem, from out your door to back is literally 8 mins. And to top it all access to all the normal hotel amenities, such as room service which you can pay for on delivery. We did last minute champagne and a cheese platter 10pm at night overlooking the gorgeous city lights and the ocean. And let's not forget the slightly heated pool making a cool down plunge without having worry about icy water such a comfort. Spoils in abundance! The whole Pearls experience combined with the vibe of Umhlanga is the closest you'll ever get to Miani on an African coastline. Thank you Keith and Magesh for the breathtaking experience. It was simply unforgettable!

We had a wonderful stay! The space was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was kind, responsive, and made check-in seamless. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

great location, clean and well serviced, very secure with boom gate security and entrance staff. there are some items that need maintenance in the apartment, like ligh bulbs, light switches etc.. but didn't impact us much. recomend it for an Umhlanga stay.

The place was quiet spacious and very nice with a beautiful view of the city. The host was very friendly . The location is next to a lot of trendy restaurants which are a walkable distance from the place.

I was pleasantly surprised when we checked in. Kwanda’s apartment was more than I expected. It was beautifully decorated, modern and clean. Access was easy. It is close to shops but also secluded enough for peace and quiet. Kwanda has a gem in his caretaker, Nkosinathi. He’s very friendly and helpful. Will definitely use his place again.

Enjoyed our stay at Gail's apartment. Spent 5 nights, a beautiful clean space and has all everything that you need for your stay. It is within a walking distance to the beach and uShaka Marine. The check in process is easy with very clear instructions and Gail was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

The apartment location was great with easy access to the beach. Apartment was very clean and neat - enjoyed our stay. The only downside of the apartment are the stairs - there are two flight of stairs - one as you enter to get to the kitchen and living room and the second to get to the bedrooms. Stairs we very narrow, not suitable for the elderly an a mission to carry up all our things

Stephanie's place was even better than it looked in the photos. It was dainty, tropical, and beautiful. We had a great time, and she was an amazing host

We reached out to Siphesihle after a terrible experience at another AirBnB listing. We were on our way to Siphesihle's place within 2 hours. We're forever grateful for his hospitality when we needed it the most! The home was beautifully decorated, clean, safe, spacious, and near plenty of restaurants. Though it was on a busy strip, my family (including a toddler) had uninterrupted rest each night.

I had a great time with my mother. The place was easy to find, we enjoyed our stay and the view is absolutely amazing. I am a Durbanite, but I haven’t lived home in over 12 years so it was nice to take out my mom for her 64th birthday and enjoy this lovely home as our vacation home. It was sad to leave and I wish I booked more days, we will be returning on another family vacation.

This is a wonderful place to stay, seeing the ocean when you open your eyes in the morning can not be described in words. I will return everytime when visiting Umdloti/Durban Tam and Grant are great hosts

What a beautiful spot! From the moment you arrive you feel as though you can exhale. Stunning place, beautiful furniture linen and every amenity. Special touches like great coffee, milk in the fridge and just all round welcoming space. Oh but the views of the ocean!! Wow! Literally a few steps away with direct beach access and access to the promenade with its host of beautiful restaurants and close proximity to shopping etc. You can’t get better value for money in such a beautiful space and location than this spot in Umhlanga! Oh and the host was the cherry on top. Warm, helpful, responsive. I will be booking again! That’s for sure. 🔥🔥🔥

A beautiful little apartment, tastefully decorated with all the amenities we needed. The view is spectacular and it’s very well located.

Loved the place, the pictures don't do it justice. Communication 10/10. Safe neighborhood. The only problem was the guests booked next to our apartment- very loud and inconsiderate.
