A Hidden Gem in Wayanad with Exceptional Hospitality I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful, homely property tucked away in the serene landscapes of Wayanad, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The house itself is cozy, clean, and surrounded by nature—perfect for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with peace and quiet. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of Mr. Vijay, the caretaker. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable at all times. From warm welcomes to helpful local tips, and even offering to prepare delicious home-cooked meals, Mr. Vijay's genuine care and kindness were deeply appreciated. He treats guests like family, and that personal touch made all the difference. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat with heartfelt hospitality, this is the place. Thank you, Mr. Vijay, for making our stay so special—we’ll definitely be back!

The property was neat, clean, and surrounded by greenery—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The caretaker was incredibly friendly, helpful, and resourceful, which made the stay even more comfortable. There was a slight delay during check-in due to some miscommunication and the incorrect location shown on the map, so I’d recommend searching for the place directly on Google Maps for smoother navigation. The pathway leading to the property is quite steep and narrow, but once you reach, the view makes it totally worth it. Overall, a lovely, well-maintained stay in a serene environment. Would definitely recommend!

The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hosts helped with local transports and recommendations to go around. Also, helped with smooth airport transfers by connecting with the right people. The house is spacious and it feels just like a home. The hosts have a warm way of looking after you. Would like recommend renting out the entire 1st floor.

We had a fantastic stay at Jellyfish! We travelled in a group of 3 couples, so we had all three rooms on the top floor of the guest house, which was clean, spacious and had AC in the bedrooms. Breakfast was always delicious! The location is by a beautiful part of the river where you can spot majestic birds and try various water sports. We tried the complementary kayaking tour, which was adapted to our experience level, and were very satisfied. The staff of Jellyfish are very friendly and helpful, and for a very reasonable extra fee they organised lunch and dinner for our group when needed (if you want to venture into Kozikhode/Calicut, it's a bit too far to walk easily but the staff can help arrange a transport). Overall, great service and value for money, warmly recommended! ☺️ Some things to know though: 1) They don't sell bottled water at the site as their intention is to reduce plastic use. 2) Extra meals are possible but the staff need 3h notice to arrange it.
