My experience with Lakehouse Home Stay was simply amazing. I'll try to describe my experience in detail from start to finish. Booking and Checkin: Anuj was extremely helpful even before booking the property, he cleared all my doubts with fast responses and since the price was fluctuating he assisted me to book at the right time so that I get the best price. I booked the place for 1 guest and at the last moment on the same morning of Checkin, a friend of mine decided to join me and Anuj was quick in assisting me to change the reservation details. He provided me with Prakash's number (Care taker of the property) in advance so that I could contact him to guide us to the property. Upon reaching, Prakash helped us with the luggage since you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the property as mentioned in the description and let me tell you that 150 stair climb is so worth it when you witness the view from the balcony. Location: The property is perfectly situated, it's right above the mall road so you get a great view of the lake, at the same time it's high enough that you can stay in peace away from the busy mall road. Stay: The property is spacious and can easily accommodate a family of 4-5. Washrooms are clean and well maintained, a geyser is installed in the kitchen and has connections to the bathroom as well if you need warm water, there is also a dedicated kitchen space however not furnished, if you're carrying your own cooking equipment then make use of it by all means. Apart from the property, Prakash was very helpful and always available when needed. He can cook you meals on demand although they can be slightly expensive I'd say, we got 1 Maggi and 1 bread Omelette prepared and it cost us ₹250 but it's worth it considering that Prakash is available at all times for requests like these. He also offered to re-heat any type of take away food that we get packed from a restaurant or collect any order that we want to get delivered since the property is situated 150 stairs above the mall road and delivery guy will not deliver it at your door step. (Of course we didn't ask him to do all this but it was amazing to see that he himself offered us this favor). The complimentary breakfast was great. First day we got Aalu Choley (Potatoe with chick peas) and Poori with Tea/coffee on the side. The next day we got stuffed parathas and poha along with tea/coffee. I almost forgot that main attraction of this place is the Balcony swing that you can chill on in the night or during the day it's just that good combined with the beautiful view. Also, a good wifi connection is available if you need to use it for your office needs. Checkout: I wasn't feeling well on the day of checkout and it was nice to see that Prakash didn't rush us for the checkout and at the same time was kind enough to hold our luggage bags with him for us to pick up later. If that wasn't enough he also dropped the luggage to us downstairs at the mall road when we were leaving the town. Also during the stay it was nice to see that Anuj also messaged to check on us if everything is going well and if we were comfortable. Overall, I'm really happy with the place and if you can manage the stairs then I'd recommend this property 10/10. P.S. If you have rented a vehicle or have one of your own you can also reach the property from one road above as mentioned in the description, it's much more convenient than climbing 150 stairs.

The stay felt homely and the host was very responsive. Mr. Kailash, the caretaker of the property, was also helpful in guiding us to reach the location as we arrived quite late in the night and the road towards the end was steep and narrow.

Bajoon homestay is a perfect place to come with group of friends and family. The property is very well maintained and clean. We were warmly welcomed by the host and owner of this property Yash. He is a very good person and a host. The chef of the property is very good who served us tastiest food other than any restaurant in Bhimtal. We as a group were very satisfied with all the services here and would like everyone to visit here. Thankyou so much yash for the best stay we can get.

Casa del is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay in between the greenery. It was an awesome stay, well maintained and spacious rooms. Lady is running this cottage, she is friendly and made us feel like home. Cottage has paranoiac view of lake. If u r familiar to hilly roads then u will not face any problem to reach the property. It’s an independent cottage with full privacy. Overall, it’s a good place if you are looking for a feel of homestay with full comfort. Food is easily available and very tasty on order . Highly recommended. Thank you for everything. Will visit again.

We stayed here for 2 nights, and what truly stood out was the absolutely stunning view of Naini Lake..right from the bed and balcony. The location is quite convenient too, just a 10-minute walk down a public staircase to Mall Road and the lake. Pallavi was a great host, always available with the right information at the right time. Caretaker Geeta, was also lovely and responsive whenever we needed assistance. A few things to keep in mind.. access to the homestay is physically challenging. one has to climb down over 100 steep steps from the parking area, and the climb back up can feel like a marathon (though staff is available to help with luggage). It's also advisable to have a clear understanding with the host regarding available amenities. Google Maps location on Airbnb was slightly off. Ask for correct location to avoid making a u-turn on narrow road with steep slope. Our stay was memorable.. the view alone makes it worth coming back. Will definitely visit again!

The place is amazing, the hosts were great. They have a 24/7 care taker in the property named Sachin, who took care of all the needs we had on commuting, eating and sightseeing. The rooms are exactly as described in the listing, the view from the balcony was breathtaking. Though the property requires some stairs and I understand it is structurally required because if the terrain of the houses Nainital, and the hosts really cannot do anything about it, but Shivang was really helpful to inform us of the prior to that, and since no one among us had any mobility issue, we were fine. But for someone who has, this property is not recommended. The property is walking distance to the bustand and there are lot of eateries and activities to do around the area. The furnishings in the property were new and fairly maintained, the bedsheets were fresh and the blankets were good and fresh too. The bathrooms were clean and modern, kitchen had all the amenities. Overall our stay was amazing.

The property is undoubtedly beautiful. Kudos to Ravi for hosting such a lovely place. Great access to Mall Road and Bada Bazaar from this property. And for the photo-crazy crowd, just spend some time in the balcony room of this property. You will be spellbound! Big shoutout to Naveen for being the most responsive caretaker. If you want to have a great breakfast, just let Naveen know the night before. He makes some of the best parathas and chai that I've ever had!

Took my parents out after a long time. We loved our stay there especially the private garden area, pretty well maintained with a lovely view! Location was also prime, we wanted to visit primarily Kainchi Dham & Golu devta, both were pretty close. There are also a lot of premium cafés to eat and enjoy your evenings at. Even if you want to eat local and simple food, Sattal is nearby having a lot of local joints to eat from. All in all we loved mostly everything about this property! :)

We stayed here with family for few days and highly recommend this home stay. This is a must visit place for it's beautiful lake view, clean rooms, helpful staff, great location, pet friendly and above all the hosts are extremely helpful. You will feel right at home. Families and Pet parents can simply close thier eyes, book and go they Wil really enjoy. We highly recommend this place and will go there over and over again and recommend to our family and friends. Special thanks for Mr. Nath for going extra mile and taking personal effort of taking care of our golden retriever when we were away, no one would ever do this. 10 on 10 hosts made our stay wonderful. The place is great and the view is amazing. The food is good too and pretty reasonable. The path to the place is a bit tricky but otherwise all great.

The place is big and well furnished. The place is very close to Mall road and in way to Raj Bhavan. The most helpful aspect was Harsh who was always available and helped us in every need. It was a good stay and would love to come back.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was great, peaceful and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. The host was super responsive and made check-in and communication really easy.

Very peaceful and calm place to spend a low-key vacation. The caretaker Sanjay was extremely responsive and pampered us with great food, barbeque and bonfire. Felt like home, would certainly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at Mayank’s property! It was exactly like the photos; the furniture and linen felt clean. The staff was exceptionally helpful and sweet, and the food was excellent— just like the other reviews described (charged additionally). The only challenge we faced was that the road to the property was still under-construction at the time of our visit (about the same time as this review) and it made it a bit difficult to drive to the location. While the terrace is quite nice and the views from the windows are too, the lack of proper roadways made the place unwalkable too. If you’re looking to spend most of your time at the property like we did, with the occasional visit to commercial Mukteshwar, then this place is just for you. Would also recommend visiting restaurants like ‘Potpourri’ by the Birdcage. There’s a supermart for basic necessities. As a sidenote, just a polite reminder to carry your own trash bag to avoid littering and dampening the natural beauty of the place :)

The stay at Pindari cottage was exceptional. I was there for a couple of nights with my husband and baby. The drive from the main road upto the house is quite steep as expected in such areas, but with assistance from the caretaker we were able to park our car. The property was well maintained. As mentioned in the listing, we got to light firewood. We were able to travel to Bhimtal, Nainital and Kainchi Dham in less than an hour each from the property because of its location. The cafés nearby were also good. Overall would definitely recommend it for a chill vacation at a clean and peaceful property.

it was awesome .. nice property.. we did not faced any issue. location is beautiful, just on Lake.. service is good. overall it was wonderful staying there. nicely taken care by host .
