For adventurous travelers who will appreciate the 10-minute panoramic walk to the house (we will transport your luggage and groceries by tractor). The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

There is a place a few steps away from the famous VERSILIA (Tuscany) called BORGOMETATO. Here various structures have been designed by the well-known Architect Stefano Viviani, who has realized In each of them, a very refined style respectful to the place. Il Borgo is situated in the Tuscany hills, very close to the seaside. Surrounded by olive trees and lots of green spaces, there are also some donkeys for the joy of children. The Gipsy Home (or Carrozzone Gitano) is a small apartment entirely built by hand in wood, equipped with every essential comfort. Immersed in the greenery of our private structure with swimming pool and barbecue, you will stay in a surreal atmosphere where relax will act as sovereign. You will have a kitchen equipped with a stove and fridge, a fantastic large bed and a bathroom with a very spacious shower. There will be a LED TV and air conditioning.

This newly renovated cottage is situated in a historic private estate immersed among secular olive trees and stone walls. The whole living space, which includes an entirely equipped kitchen, opens on the terrace thanks to the huge patio window offering a breathtaking view on the Gulf of Portovenere. There are two separate bedrooms with closets and French windows opening on the terrace, and a bathroom. The laundry area is in a separate adjoining space.

Lerici is a very attractive and charming coastal town at the Golfo dei Poeti close to nice tourist attractions such as Cinque Terre, Portovenerre, Parma, Genoa,Portofino, Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Forte Dei Marmi, etc.
