From the spacious outdoor area with the most beautiful flowing creek, to the oh so cozy inside (we were lucky enough to use the wood stove), and 2 balconies to stargaze this place is a no brainer. I recommend staying more than 1 night to soak in all this space has to offer! Heather was an amazing host- extremely kind and responsive to communicate with! Perfect location for if you’ve visiting the Great Sand Dunes. While driving around town, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I hope to be back soon 😀

If your looking for great views and privacy, this is the place for you. Loved how spacious the home was with plenty of extras id you needed blankets, heaters, or fans.

It's better than the pictures! We immediately felt right at home. Melinda had everything we needed and then some. The furniture was exceedingly comfortable; we wanted to take the couches home! The kitchen was stocked with anything we could need, and the gas stove was a joy to cook on. The views were fantastic, and we loved the peace and quiet. Our dogs also enjoyed their stay with a wonderful fenced backyard to roam. If you are looking for a low-key getaway that feels like your second home the moment you walk in the door, look no further!

The earthship was quiet, warm, and peaceful, even on a very windy day! The wood stove and gas fireplace were easy to use and cozy. The record player and old records were fun and novel. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you could need. And, of course, Crestone is beautiful. Sean and Thomas were always responsive and kind in their messages, and we briefly got to chat with Thomas, which was lovely.

My family and I wanted to say Thank You for sharing your house with us. It was a great experience and the modern touches were well done! It’s not often that you find places to stay that appreciates pets, but our dog is family and it was very accommodating, from the great backyard area, to the food bowls that were available. Staying at the Hobbitat was such a a treat! Jeff and Ruth are fantastic hosts and have created something so special. We felt so lucky to have experienced it for a few days. We especially enjoyed finding the hidden treasures in the architecture, sitting out on the balconies enjoying the mountain views, star gazing, and bird watching, and the quick trips to explore downtown Crestone. This was one of our more unique stays and we would highly recommend!

A place to get away from it all. Beautiful views, yet close enough to town to have access to great restaurants and amenities. Nicely appointed, and comfortable cottage.

Upscale neighborhood with a nice downstairs apartment. Had everything needed. Washer and dryer. Quiet and clean. recommend.

We picked this location as it was between Santa Fe and Denver and allowed all our family to connect for Thanksgiving. Amazing views. We enjoyed the remote location and solitude. And Crestone is a sweet town and the Sand Dunes are simply remarkable.

So peaceful and relaxing. Didn't see others during our stay. Cabin was warm and cozy. Our dog had a great time playing in the snow. Highly recommend a stay here!

Great cozy place to get away from it all! Our family has been run down & overestimated lately so we unplugged for Thanksgiving. This place was perfect for us!

We had a great time staying here! The place was great, the farm was so fun to walk around and see the animals, Cindy and James were great hosts and gracious to show us around. There was one issue with the propane going out and they were very quick to fix it late at night. Would definitely stay there again!

We truly loved our stay. The place was just as described and remarkably clean. The host was responsive with any questions we had. The houses were both very cozy and welcoming. We'd like to come back to explore the area more so will be looking to see if this place is available. The road was a little busier than expected but nothing that would keep us from returning.

This place is super peaceful. Our cabin had a steam shower & sauna, this was so nice to have as this was a work trip. Bed was very comfortable. I Would highly recommend this place for a get out of the city & recharge getaway! Beautiful area. Thanks for hosting us Vivian.

Very lovely home the whole family enjoyed this place, just wish we could of stayed longer. Dark sky with amazing view at night view is beautiful even at daytime. would definitely book again in another occasion.

Literally my favorite Airbnb stay to date. We loved everything about the place. It was gorgeous, and homey, but not cluttered. It was spotlessly clean. Very cool art. A lot of bnbs are very dated, kind of dirty because they're older, super cheap dollar store dishes and silverware, you get one towel (you might steal a second towel!) and this experience was the polar opposite. It felt luxury. What a fantastic place.

The home was wonderful! Great layout and beautiful outside and inside! Being dog friendly was definitely a big bonus. Very Clean, comfortable beds, cozy blankets, and would definitely stay here again!

Vivian was a wonderful host! She was friendly and her hospitality was beyond compare. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others looking for a respite away from the hustle of every day life. The woods behind the cabin were fun to explore and extremely peaceful. This was even better than the description on Air Bnb. I am so glad I had a chance to unwind and reset here
