There's a dock on premise with a boat landing less than a quarter mile away. The house is close to snowmobiling trails and within driving distance to Granite Peak Ski Area. Mead Wildlife area down the road w/ access to thousands of acres.

2200 sq. ft. lower level, walk out to the WI River! Licensed Tourist Short-term Rental with Portage County. Just 5 min. from Stevens Point. Enjoy the patio, walks, or kayak to explore the river! You'll see nature's beauty with occasional deer, geese, swans or bald eagles. Sunrises & sunsets are the best! We live on the main level and will welcome our guests (when we are here). We are also available to help with any incidentals during your stay if asked. You'll love it as much as we do!

* Extra sanitizing measures are in place during the COVID-19 Pandemic. * My place is cozy, clean, and quiet with all the comforts of home! It is located half way between the highway and downtown. You will have the entire upstairs to yourself during your stay, including a bedroom with a queen size bed, a bathroom with shower, and an open concept kitchen, dining area, living room, and work desk. You'll also have your own private entrance and free off street parking in the back of the house.

My place is quiet, serene and private, and secluded. Hear the rooster crow or collect your own eggs for your breakfast. Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. Ever wanted to see what goes on in a commercial bakery? Imagine waking to the aroma of baking bread and cinnamon rolls? Get a bird's eye view into the kitchen of the Village Hive Bakery Kitchen while staying in the newly renovated "flatlet". Salvaged & repurposed building supplies used to create a unique studio apartment above the bakery retail. Guests can enjoy the retail farmhouse table and comfortable seating space by the Main Street picture window. Cooking/baking classes available.

Our cozy, lovely one bedroom apartment is walking distance to everything downtown. 8 mins drive to Aspirus hospital. We are dog* friendly w/ a private garage. We pride ourselves in allowing our guests to truly explore and love Wausau as much as we do, but also feel safe and secure. We look forward to being your hosts. *Dog friendly (upon pet agreement approval). 40 lb one dog limit. No puppy.
