Wild Forest Tin Box - Off the Grid Eco Retreat

Above the forest. Under the Milky Way. A converted shipping container just above the tree line. We'll take you up through the forest in our golf cart. Completely off-grid. A queen bed, 100% linen, a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, and a covered deck with a fire pit, hammock and Cape Cod chairs. Rain is never a reason to go inside. At night, with no light anywhere nearby, the Milky Way is complete. The outdoor bath puts you under all of it. You'll be soaking under the stars, above the forest.

Peaceful location. Warm home. Woodfire to warm those winter nights (house is toasty warm in 15 mins - fire wood provided). You'll enjoy the peace & tranquility this home has to offer. We have kept as many original features as possible, so you get to experience a traditional Kiwi holiday - with a few added comforts. We are dog friendly - check the house rules. Fibre WIFI very efficient. BBQ available. Maximum guest number is 3 including children/infants/babies.
