Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Open kitchen/dining/living room. Game room in basement and walk out to fire pit. Boat lift; 6,000 lbs-inquire for daily fee. Off peak rentals for Culver Academy events. Jun-Sep, 5 night min; off peak 2 night min stay. Hot tub not available. Sleeps 10 adults 2 kids.

Close to Culver Academies (18 min/10 mi), Lake Maxinkuckee (13 min/7.4 mi), Lake Manitou (27 min/16 mi), and the historic Tippecanoe River (5 min/3.5 mi to Germany Bridge or 5 min/1.6 mi to Aubbeenaubbee Landing in Leiters Ford). We keep our prices low for 2 people, so please note that while we have space for up to 6 guests, each additional guest will incur small additional charges.

This unit offers beautiful views of Lake Max from the living room, primary bedroom, & entire 3rd floor. Private lake access is just steps away from the front patio and it's just a short walk to town, the park, public beach, & Culver Academies. We love hosting (& kids) and our condo is well-stocked with most everything you need to start making your Lake Max memories with friends and family.

Culver/Lake Max Home... In-Town & Close to Academy

Clean, Comfortable, Updated Home just steps off of Main Street and a short walk to Cafe Max. A great home for Academy parents to stay while visiting their children. Also, a great residence to stay in if your child's team is playing a Culver team. Dogs are welcome, please no cats. $50 additional pet cleaning fee. Need the house for consecutive weekends? Let me know. Happy to be flexible with cleaning fees and unused mid-week days.
