This place is a hidden gem! It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway for my boyfriend and I to celebrate our 2-year anniversary. Leslie was super proactive, responsive, and accommodating. We immediately felt comfortable, cozy, and right at home in the cabin. It had everything we could ever need and then some! This trip was exactly what we needed to get away from the craziness of every-day life and really unplug and unwind. Leslie & Matt gave us some great local recommendations, and our day trip to Stowe to visit The Alchemist and Matterhorn was a blast! We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub at the end of each day. Thanks to Leslie & Matt for such a wonderful experience, we hope to be back very soon!

This cabin is outstanding. Packs an absolute ton into a smallish space and great for the price. The entire area is super cool and the hot tub, fire pit, and lap pool (all of which we used) are just perfect for this type of stay. We were there for end of season skiing, but this is easily a place you could use at any time of the year. It's a stone's throw from Sugarbush, so the location is excellent. Colin and Jordan are congenial and terrific hosts. There are also little details that really stand out, such as the shoe/boot cleaner outside the door and the clothing rack in the bedroom. My son and the kids of our friends who were there had to be dragged out of the lap pool and we all enjoyed the hot tub and a made use of the fire pit with a guitar jam. Highly, highly recommend!

Lisa was a great host! Highly recommend staying! Very responsive and generous. Was very flexible when it came to a last minute reschedule due to sickness which we are very grateful for. Cabin is secluded enough to be very peaceful but close to main attractions. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay next time.

Was absolutely wonderful stay. We usually don't spend much time at our airbnbs but we got to fully enjoy this one. Relaxed the whole weekend was just what we needed. Staying at Adley’s place was a pleasure. Even without the snow-covered landscape we were hoping for this proved as cozy and peaceful as it looks. Very spacious and comfortable, beautiful views from all living areas, well-equipped kitchen, I can only recommend!

We had a lovely and relaxing stay. The cabin and surrounding property are beautiful, and Evangelyn was a wonderful host. If you’re looking for a peaceful, “home away from home” getaway, this is just the place.

My girlfriend and I went to Vermont for a wedding and had a great time, this cabin was great for the two of us to have space away from all the busy events of the wedding and relax. The hot tub was amazing and it was very secluded. Pay close attentions to the drive in instructions, the road referenced in that section of this Airbnb's page is definitely not for a car and is very narrow.

We had the best time here! The view is beautiful and the place is so well appointed. Had everything we needed for a quiet, relaxing weekend (especially the hot tub and wood stove!!). And the place is just a five minute drive to awesome restaurants and cafes. I'd come back here in a heartbeat.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Owl's Head Cabin for a long weekend skiing at Jay. The cabin is small and cozy, very warm, and the right size for two people for a weekend. In addition to the main bed, there's a loft with a sleeping area, but you'd have to be very small to get into it and enjoy it; I'd guess the cabin would be a bit small for a couple with children but maybe if you're out all day it'd be okay. Cooking appliances worked well. The one note of caution is that you have to drive on a somewhat rough, uphill dirt road for at least 3 or 4 miles to reach the cabin. We fortunately did not have to drive during a time when there was actively snow falling on the road, but the 2wd sedan we rented definitely would not have made it in those conditions; it was a little harrowing even with just the slush and ruts left after plowing. So be careful if your trip coincides with nastier weather! Jason was very communicative and left clear instructions. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Our stay was wonderful at the cabin. The cabin was clean and centrally located to winter activities. Andrea was very responsive. Cant wait to go back again

This rental was lovely and welcoming. It was well appointed and easy to be at home. I appreciated the art on the walls. It was very cold when we visited and flannel sheets on the bed made it very comfortable. We look forward to staying again during mountain bike season.

Beautiful, cozy, and well stocked cabin with the most amazing lake view. Kim and Rich were super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again when I'm back in the area.

We had another great year, our 4th, at Emily's cabin! As always, it was clean and well maintained. You would never know that so many people and dogs have enjoyed this place. It was spotless. Also, the kitchen and the toiletries were well stocked and Emily would check in to see if there was anything we needed. We spent the week exploring Vermont. We made a couple trips to hike with our dug, Ruby, at dog mountain. Made a trip to purchase enough maple syrup to last all family members for the year. And took a scenic drive to Moose Bog Trail where we sadly saw no moose. Ruby enjoyed romping with Darla. She would watch up the driveway until Darla came down to play. Darla is so sweet and the two of them loved playing keep away with sticks. Our advice is to get some farm fresh eggs from a stand in Ryegate, a loaf of fresh cinnamon raisin bread from the truck stop/bakery and make some french toast with Vermont maple syrup on top. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Absolutely loved our stay here!! The home is even more beautiful than in the photos. We found it to be very spacious, clean, cozy and close to everything we needed. Hosts were a pleasure and communicative. Will absolutely be coming back.

We loved how peaceful and secluded this place was. It is next to the owner’s house, but it’s surrounded by wilderness. Our dogs loved being off leash on the trails or running through the stream. Nice 2 mile hike climb up to a vista. With the rain, we didn’t get to explore the other trails on the property. Would love to go back and explore more. Many attractions within a reasonable drive from here as well.

I stayed here for a couple of nights for a much-needed break from the day-to-day and I'm so glad I picked this place. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and up to date. The location is perfect if you're just looking for a break. Carrie was a great host and her communication was great. Thanks!

It was actually better than the description. It was great that we each had our own bedroom, upstairs bedroom was spectacular. It was a rainy weekend which made the place even cozier as we stayed in the whole weekend. Cell service was good. Everything you could think of was available from pots and pans to a wine opener. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Great place for a rustic but comfortable stay. Everything was as described, stream behind the house allowed for lovely background nature noise the whole trip, but could close windows if you didn’t want it. Easy in and out, well stocked with the basics. Would rent again!

We loved our time at this cozy cabin. It is very private and secluded. It had everything we needed for our stay. The wood stove heats things up quick and was easy to use. We were able to snowshoe right from the porch, as it snowed every day and there was plenty of property to explore. The cabin is close to alot of things we enjoyed. It is very bright and peaceful inside. The steps to the loft bedroom are steep, but we expected such. The road to the cabin can be sketchy with a fresh snow, but our AWD with all weather tires was more than capable. We did take it extra slow coming back down the hill to the main road as it had not been plowed. We would recommend to anyone wanting a private getaway and would definitely stay again!

Peaceable Nation, is exactly that. Super unique and cozy, perfect for our family and dog. Dave was incredibly accommodating and responsive! We loved the goodies when we arrived and learning how Peaceable Nation came to fruition. Definitely trying to make it out for a weekend this summer!! Thank you again!!!

This place is truly a dream getaway! Located just a quick five-minute drive from Jay Peak, it offers the perfect blend of convenience and cozy charm. The home has a wonderfully warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at ease. If you're bringing your dog along, you'll love the scenic trails right out back—perfect for a peaceful walk or an adventurous hike. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to whip up meals, which made our stay even more comfortable. And the hot tub? Absolutely amazing—such a relaxing bonus after a day on the slopes or exploring the area. A special shoutout to our host, Haley, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-equipped stay near Jay Peak!

Beautiful place, older but very well-maintained w period details (exposed beams, etc). More spacious than it looks in photos, great space for 2 people. We were there in winter and had several inches of snow, but house was warm and no difficulty with travel with AWD (road and driveway both plowed).
