Stacy and John's place is very comfortable. Overlooking Pine Run, with an expensive porch, it is a lovely place to sit! It's nice interacting with other guests, and it is very convenient to Boone. I really enjoyed my overnight.

We booked Greg and Lisa's place because it was very near to family we were visiting at Christmas. And, even though it was right in the middle of the busiest Holiday season Greg and Lisa were very responsive with any request or questions we had. We were quite pleasantly surprised to see the kitchen is more well equipped than how it appears in the photos. There is a new 2 burner induction cooktop as well as a small countertop oven. We were eating with family elsewhere, but I feel I could have prepared a full meal in the kitchen if I had needed or wanted to. We also appreciated how comfy the big sectional sofa was. It was perfect for cuddling and watching a movie with our daughter whom we hadn't seen for a long time. Thanks Greg and Lisa! We will probably be back!

John is “the” host! We had a great time in his property. The property has everything you need to have a great time. You can fish, swim in the pond, play pool, etc. John takes really good care of you, cannot ask for a better host!

This is the second time we have stayed here. Great place, responsive hosts. Will stay again!

I rented the place as a Christmas present for my daughter and her husband. I kept my granddaughter while they stayed. They had problems with the internet and James made a trip to the house and personally fixed the problem. They said he was really nice.

I love Anita’s place nice house I definitely recommend Anita and Tim are very friendly they are nice people I definitely rent again.

My husband and I needed some much-needed R&R and that is just what we got at this beautiful home. Loved the decor, the super comfortable couch and bed! We never made it to the Jacuzzi tub; however, the open shower was cool! Would defiantly recommend this romantic spot.

This was an awesome place to stay. The house was perfect and had plenty of room. The resort is amazing and the amenities are incredible. We will be coming back.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The breathtaking mountain view was unbelievable, and the house itself was so cozy and comfortable, with comfy furniture and beds. The kitchen had everything we needed, even for our large group. Having access to Rumbling Bald was a fantastic bonus – we really enjoyed the indoor pool and mini-golf. Communication with the host was excellent, and check-in was smooth. We highly recommend this house for a peaceful family retreat. The only downside? Our kid was so sad when it was time to leave!!! Thank you, Kathleen, we will definitely come back.

my husband and I just stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely wonderful. it was the peaceful and relaxing getaway we were looking for when we booked it. the place was beautiful and clean. looked just like the pictures. the resort offered so much that just made the stay perfect. the host was welcoming and very informative. they were super helpful and wonderful in making the stay great. we plan to come back 🤗

This house is AMAZING! It exceeded our expectations. We had 10 adults in our group and we had plenty of room! The bedrooms were beautifully decorated with comfortable bedding! The 3 living room spaces were perfect for us to spread out. We loved the big windows all around the house as they brought in plenty of natural light. The kitchen and dining room table were large and perfect for 10 of us to cook and enjoy a meal together. The outside space is everything you see in the photos. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and the deck with a beautiful view during our stay. Rumbling Bald resort has so much to do as well. We were only there for 2 nights, but did enjoy dinner at the restaurant, the bar and the beach during our stay. Absolutely wonderful is all we can say! We look forward to staying here again! The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this beautiful home!!

Joy’s place was fantastic!! Better than the pictures! High end furnishings, best equipped kitchen ever and all the comforts of home! Not a detail missed in this condo! We enjoyed the amenities at Rumbling Bald. Close to chimney Rock.

This was a fabulous space - clean, comfortable, spacious, GORGEOUS lake view! I can highly recommend this experience.

Out of all the vacations we’ve had in the past 10 years this was one of our favorite ! the airstream hosted by Camp Watauga had some of the most relaxing, beautiful views of the mountains in Tennessee. The lake was quiet and serene. The camper was more spacious than in the pictures and you couldn’t ask for a better spot. Parking was fine. You have to walk a very short distance. If you don’t park right next to it. The host was very responsive and let us to the company we used to rent our boat for two days. Everything was exactly as described. The instructions were clear cut. The pictures do not do it justice I could stay there forever given the option.

We had the best time at Rachel’s lake house! It’s well stocked and suitable for families with kids of all ages. We have toddlers who loved playing on the beach and jumping off the dock. It was so peaceful taking the paddle board out in the mornings.

The place was very nice and met our needs. We feel the price was more than we anticipated after seeing the cleaning fees and other fees added, you learn from other places we've stayed in the past that the cost was our biggest issue. We only had a full day and a half with the family which we felt could have been a longer stay for what we paid. Anyway it is a very nice place for those that have bigger pockets.

Beautiful home and location. The design with 2 bedrooms downstairs and 1 upstairs was perfect for us. Plenty of space for family-time inside and on the dock outside. We hope to make a return visit!

This was a fabulous place to spend time with family. The neighborhood was quiet and the house had an abundance of amenities to keep everyone busy. Thank you for an awesome visit. I hope to come back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shelly's beautiful home. The house was very welcoming and the property was so peaceful. We especially loved the outdoor screened porch - we spent most of our time out there. We went with our 1 year old, so it was easy to keep him contained out there, while still being "outside". It was also so convenient to be right on the water with the dock available! The house is beautifully decorated, but we did have to relocate a few of the decor on lower shelves and the table runners to keep our son from pulling them down. Everything was easy to return to its original location at checkout. Of course, this is no problem at all if you don't have small children! The home was located about 15 to 20 minutes from shops and restaurants by car. We did several fun things around the area and found many attractions within a 30 to 40 minute drive. Shelly was so kind, informative, and quick to respond to any questions. We would love to stay again!

Staying at Melinda and Andy’s at Lake Lure is our family’s favorite summer tradition. This is our fifth summer and we look forward to it all year. Kayaking, floating, and swimming on the lake; family games and meals on the porch; seeing turtles, swimming with ducks, and catching lizards; outings to Chimney Rock, Asheville, and Black Mountain; hiking, lying or reading on the daybed porch swing; making a fire for s’mores lakeside. This is a special place and we are grateful to have made so many family memories here.
