Vista Verde was a delightful place to call home base for our week of exploring the Upstate. We are a food allergy family and found her kitchen to be so easy to cook in. We also were blown away by the generous amenities (hair dryers, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, soap and lotion!) We loved working our dog on the path and enjoyed family swim! Tarah was a responsive host!

The house is great, the location and view are perfect, and the host is very helpful and responsive. The house had a lot of great amenities, perfect for a family. Boat rental was super easy, and we enjoyed using the kayaks and standup paddle boards. Our young children loved the beach area, and the adults enjoyed the Hottub. The lake, of course, is beautiful, and the fishing good as well. We’ll definitely return.

Janet’s house was the perfect location and size for myself, my husband, and our small group of friends. We were in Toccoa for a friend’s wedding at the falls and it was a 10 min drive to the venue. Janet made sure we had all of the information needed to get to her house and we felt safe and comfortable. If you ever find yourself in Toccoa in the future, this is a great place to relax and rest your heads! Thank you!

The cabin and location was perfect for a weekend getaway with my two daughters. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. Once the restaurant opened, my 9 year old made friends with some of the children who were there for dinner, and they played for hours! Lee and Jim’s info folder listed local trails, things to do, and places to eat. My 9 year old didn’t want to leave! She’s begging for another trip soon. We’ll definitely stay longer next time!

Beautiful location. Very quiet and peaceful. However very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Super friendly neighborhood. Being dog friendly helped immensely. Host was super accommodating and friendly.

The place was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed our stay and we really felt like we were home. The lay out is nice. The property managers were the absolute best. I loved being able to communicate with them so quickly. They accommodated us by allowing an early check in. It was truly a blessing and we are already thinking of coming back. Oh and Kennedy! My kids adored the dog. He listened and they enjoyed giving him treats. If you are thinking about it, just do it. Thanks for the hospitality.

We had a great stay. Lots of beautiful waterfalls in the area. We rented a pontoon boat on Lake Keowee. The house was very well equipped. We cooked most of our meals and we found everything we needed and more. The view of the lake from the upper deck was beautiful and we enjoyed going out in the canoe. We would not hesitate to book again in the future. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Pristine and well-stocked kitchen. Lots of thought and preparation obviously went into stocking everything we needed during our stay. We found it organized and set up for whatever we wanted to prepare in this beautiful galley-style cooking space. Glasses, cups, silverware, pots and pans - it’s ALL there. The deck is new and well-furnished. We had a relaxing lunch while listening to music on the Bluetooth speaker (provided).
