Located right next to the DHR Toy Train station however there is a steep walk down to the property which is located in a peaceful residential neighborhood. Two bedrooms with two double beds, a small hall area with colourful lighting and a small box-bed, two tables and 4 chairs, one cozy kitchen with all amenities and a spotless washroom were the amenities. the two beds have inbuilt heaters but since I travelled in April, they were not required. Abhishek and his brother Ashwin even provided us home cooked meals at minimal charges which were much cheaper than the local market rates. The usp of course is the view from the three windows, just amazing and incredibly romantic. Me and my family absolutely loved our stay there. Really felt like home at Abhis stay.

We spent a couple of days at this serene retreat and absolutely loved it! Our ever-smiling host, Lama Pasang, was incredibly helpful. The presence of the super-friendly dogs was a much-appreciated bonus. While local food options were limited, they were delicious and very reasonably priced. We would love to visit again — preferably for a longer stay!

had an amazing experience staying at a homestay in Darjeeling, and the host, Bhasker, made it even more memorable. From the moment I arrived, Bhasker went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. His hospitality was exceptional; he greeted me warmly and provided me with detailed information about the area, suggesting the best local spots to visit. The homestay itself was cozy, clean, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms were well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and all the necessary amenities. The homemade meals prepared by Bhasker and his family were delicious, with a mix of traditional Nepali and Bengali dishes. It truly felt like a home away from home. What stood out the most was Bhasker’s genuine kindness and personal touch. He was always available to help with any requests Overall, if you’re looking for a warm, welcoming, and authentic experience in Darjeeling, I highly recommend staying at Bhasker’s homestay.

We had a relaxing and rejuvenating stay at Izom Him Homestay. The host was very responsive and caring, the Manager Raj was equally responsible and prompt. The food served by Pronita was homely and had amazing flavours. Only downside is the approach to the homestay which our host had well informed us. I wish the roads are mended pretty soon for easy access. We faced no difficulties in the commute as Raj had helped us with pick and drop services. Thank you for having us.

Fantastic place. Quiet (which was great as there was a festival on - rock- and this was out of the noise). The stroll into town was so enjoyable (note if walking is hard and being amongst the bustle is key then this might be a stretch). The views from two bedrooms are breathtaking- I’m not sure anywhere else would have this view. It was warm with lots of heating and hot water. Large kitchen. Large Lounge. Lots of places to be together or apart if you needed respite from each other. Very easy to communicate with. Everything works well.

We had a wonderful stay at Sugam's place. The homestay was cozy and comfortable, the surrounding was picturesque, and our host as very warm and welcoming. The experience was one of its kind. Everything was perfect, will definitely recommend if you want a break from the hustle bustle of the city and spend your time reconnecting with nature.

It was such a great experience at Aryan’s place. 1.First thing was Kalpana di….so polite, extremely good cook, food was amazing , she was always helpful in every aspect. 2.Location was really great, 1 km from rock garden, very peaceful place with beautiful surroundings with no crowd 3.Rooms were same as in pictures 4.Experience was like in home not in hotel

Awesome view from balcony. right in the lap of Nature surrounded by mountains, trees and a very adorable cute puppy liza. the staff are very helpful, guided us to load / unload our luggage and always responsive. A perfect family vacation we spent for a night here. Appropriately named as birdsong for this place as we could hear sweet melodies sung by birds most of the time.
