The house looks exactly like the photos and was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary appliances. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We had a fabulous few days at this outstanding property! This place is ‘next level’ gorgeous and has everything you need for a large group to enjoy time together. The beds are super comfy, the kitchen has plenty of equipment for cooking and dining, the decor is stunning. It has a relaxed beachside vibe but with lovely luxurious touches everywhere. We would recommend The Church on the Hill without hesitation.

Second stay at Robert’s place - a relaxed, spacious home with view of the water in lovely Portland

We had a great stay — the place was exactly as described. We had 8 of us in town for a fishing charter, and the house was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, homely, and communication was easy throughout. The games room was definitely a highlight and provided plenty of entertainment. Would happily stay again!

We loved our stay at the Blue House! Helen was super helpful and the fancy bathrobes were a beautiful touch. GREAT spot - across from the lake and fishing spot, easy walk to the playground / skate park / cafes. Nice big verandah the while way round. BBQ is a cracker. Thanks Helen for hosting us!

Beautiful secluded location. Perfect for nature and dog lovers. Quiet and picturesque beach. Small suggestion - previously mentioned by other guests - would be to create a covered outdoor spot to enjoy the sea and fresh air in shade.
