Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!

‘Thistle-Doo’ Self Contained Annex

A small self contained ground floor annex in a large detached house. Located in a peaceful and rural location in the village of Littleborough. Twenty minute rail link to Manchester. Close to Hollingworth Lake Country Park, The Pennine Way and the Rochdale Canal. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. The annex has been recently renovated and has all new appliances and furnishing, which includes fridge, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher.
