Ideal location for walking, exploring North Wales mountains, the historic city of Chester, Wrexham Football club. Convenient for Chester races or zoo, the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen or the World heritage site Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and canal. Fantastic mountain bike trail only 6 miles away. Glyndyfrdwy heritage railway station is 0.5 mile from the house and Llangollen with a range of independent shops, pubs and restaurants is easily accessible by car or steam train.

Llys Onnen - North Wales Holiday Cottage

Llys Onnen is located near the village of Graianrhyd in North Wales. The cottage is set within 3 acres of land & is home to our Chickens. Visitors are welcome to help themselves to fresh eggs every day as well as let their dog(s) play in the large 2-acre field! The nearest pub is the Rose & Crown, just a 10 min walk away & serves wonderful real ales and has a roaring fire! There's a selection of basket meals at weekends. There’s ample parking including an electric vehicle (EV) charging point.

Superb accommodation at an amazingly affordable price with fantastic reviews. Cefn Bach sleeps four. One double and one twin bedroom. Bed linen and towels supplied. Good Wi-Fi. Games barn with table football, pool table and table tennis. Bathroom on the ground floor includes a luxury walk in shower, heated towel rail, washbasin, toilet and shaving point. The kitchen is fully equipped with integrated oven, hobs and fridge. A utility room provides a washing machine, microwave and ample storage.

A cosy home with underfloor heating, woodburner, fully equipped kitchenette, king sized bed & private parking. 5/10 mins walk to the steam train station, pub, canal & river. 1 mile from the centre of Llangollen which has many more pubs, restaurants & activities. Being in the area of outstanding natural beauty there are walks from the doorstep, but we're also only 35 minutes to Eryri/Snowdonia. The barn is not a big space, but is perfect for a getaway for two people. Everyone is welcome.

Just 14 miles from Chester and within an hour’s drive from Snowdonia. It can comfortably sleep up to three people (plus infant) by using the sofa bed in the sitting room. Cottage is fully equipped with travel cot/high chair if required. A perfect base to explore North Wales & Chester.
