The cottage is within walking distance of the Mawddach Trail perfect for exploring this beautiful corner of North Wales. Barmouth is also 2.5 miles walk across the famous Barmouth Bridge.

There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s a 300 year old cottage on the side of a mountain, space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

We have sympathetically restored the property with its sash window and flag stone flooring, however it still includes all the mod cons to ensure a delightfully chilled holiday.

Min-y-don cottage is a fully equipped traditional Welsh stone built cottage with double glazing and gas central heating. It retains it's original oak beams but has a full width staircase for easy access between floors. On the ground floor It has an open lounge-diner with a sofa bed whilst upstairs is a separate double bedroom and bathroom/toilet. The cottage comes with it's own private gated parking space. It's placed within seconds of all town amenities.

Totally self-contained with shower, toilet & rustic kitchen.

Please be aware that this is the top apartment on the third floor, up three flights of stairs, there is no lift. For those that feel comfortable about some extra exercise on your holiday, you will be rewarded by an endless sea view!
