Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Birchwood Lodge is a log cabin just above the banks of Loch Tay and in the shadow of the Ben Lawers range of Munros, in Highland Perthshire. It features an open plan design with under floor heating. There's a comfortable double bed, shower room, private hot tub & sauna, gas BBQ, free wifi, DVD player, Sky TV with movies and sports & SONOS music system. We have a private beach with gazebo across the road (shared only when we are at our holiday house), and a Canadian Canoe available for guests.
