The Great Escape is situated in a quiet, private neighborhood and is perfect for a guys' fishing trip, a girls' get together, or any getaway you choose!

Cute Athens is only 5 miles away, and Canton's First Monday is 30 miles away. After a fun day of fishing, kayaking, SUP races, swimming in the lake, pedal boating, feeding the ducks, cornhole, or frisbee throwing enjoy a gorgeous east TX sunset with your favorite beverage and then a fire with s'mores.

Whether it is relaxing in the spa, pool, playing pickleball, having coffee on the back porch, enjoying the firepit or kayaks… This place has it all! It’s truly a secluded, beautiful place to unwind and relax with family and friends. Prior to booking with us, I want to state that the spa is not a hot tub. Little House By the Lake

(SMOKE FREE PROPERTY) This is our happy place and we hope you will love it, too! Our secluded house by the lake is two bedroom (one master with a king-size and a 2nd bedroom with 4 kid bunk beds, room to sleep on the couch, too), two bath, kitchen, washer, dryer, games, gas fire pit, decks, dock, tall trees, and tranquility. Near the south end of the lake and it is shallow. Great fishing. THE HOUSE HAS A FAINT CIGARETTE SMELL. FEW NOTICE. DO NOT BOOK IF YOU HAVE SMOKE SENSITIVITY.
