We highly recommend the Pelley House. It is steeped in history, comfy bed, huge kitchen and right next to a beautiful lake. Twillingate is only 30 min away, grocery store, gas stations and liquor store less than 20 min. And beautiful hiking trails throughout the area. The Beothuk Interpretation centre is only 5 min. away. It was closed for the season when we arrived (mid October), but the walking trail and spirit garden are definitely worth a visit. Helpful hint - most of Twillingate is shut down for the season in October but still worth the drive for scenery and hiking.

Somewhere Brighter Beach Shack was perfect for our visit to Leading Tickles. The place is clean and comfortable, walking trails are nearby as well. I highly recommend staying here

Trevor's place was a little piece of Heaven! My only complaint was having to leave! Both Trevor and his property manager Daphne are the true definitions of "Super Hosts." They are very friendly and responsive and care about both the property (inside and out) and the experience that guests have. The suite is quiet, spotless and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed. The best feature, however, is the location, with the suite nestled in the corner of a peaceful cove. Sitting on the patio with my coffee listening to the sound of the waves was a highlight. If I ever get to return to Twillingate, this would be my first choice for accommodation!

Amazing seaside location and a large house with many bedrooms and spaces which was perfect for our group of 7 nature photographers to recharge and rest and relax after a long week on tour. They could walk right from the house in the morning out to photographing over the ocean.

L'endroit était magnifique et très bien équipé. Graham était ponctuel et très avenant envers ses invités. Peut-être préciser que finalement la chaloupe n'est pas "incluse" avec le logement contrairement à ce qu'indique l'annonce; c'est l'hôte qui vient nous porter et nous rechercher après. Le logement était très convivial; beaucoup de confort avec l'électricité et l'eau chaude malgré l'aspect rustique de l'emplacement. Les lits étaient mous, mais ça fait partie du charme ;) Considérez voyager plus léger que nous, en raison de la pente abrupte pour se rendre au lodge et avec l'espace limité de la chaloupe. Globalement, nous avons adoré notre séjour. Le temps s'arrête!

The place is set in a great town with easily accessible groceries and not far from the main highway! When we weren't seeing Newfoundland we were relaxing at night at the very comfy and cozy cottage.

A beautiful place located very close to Fogo Island Inn at a very reasonable price. Owen’s place was quaint, comfortable and beautifully decorated.

Even though it was a work trip, I felt very relaxed and comfortable staying at the cottage! Being able to walk down by the ocean and watch the many species of birds flying above, it helped reduce the stresses of work! Building is unique to the area and one of a kind. Definitely will stay there again!

We loved staying at Wendy's place, the views were insane! The spot had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay, and Wendy and Dan were gracious and kind hosts. They made sure we had all of the information necessary to have a successful trip, and went above and beyond when we ran into some personal troubles due to illness. Would love to stay at their home again.

Beautiful home In a quiet location over looking the water! The house was clean and they had everything you could ever need there to use! The starter groceries were soo thoughtful and delicious and greatly appreciated! Would stay here again if in the area! Hosts were great and provided recommendations when asked for places to eat!

We had a great time. The village us very nice, quiet and beautiful. The cabin is fantastic and the location is the best. Close to great hiking destinations and we got to kayak in Tizzard’s Harbour and that was a fantastic paddle. We highly recommend it.

The PERFECT GETAWAY! Relaxation at its finest. The Hostess, Charlene very friendly and responds within seconds if you need her. There is everything there at this beautiful hideaway, right on the ocean. She has Firepit blankets to curl up in, smore packages done and the utensils, sand buckets for the kids, and BBQ. Supplies. There is detergents and softeners for the laundry. There is a fine selection of wine, treats, Keurig coffee. Bath salts done up in little packages for a relaxing soaker bath and all the most beautiful homemade quilts that one could imagine. The wood stove with lots of splits and wood is stocked neatly to keep warm and cozy up with while enjoying the ocean and the birds outside. We absolutely love this place. So quite and peaceful. Best place hands down that I HAVE EVER rented. Wanda and Bill Wareham

We were very pleased with this airbnb, so much so that we stayed an extra day. It was a quiet place with peaceful surroundings. Twillingate is about 20 minutes away and it has grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies and a hospital. The drinking water was plentiful and very good. It’s important to bring food to the airbnb if you do not plan on going to Twillingate. Terrence was easily available and he always responded promptly.

I stayed here for one night. The apartment was immaculately clean, decorated to perfectly match the area (drift wood art, local scenery. etc). My hosts Laurie and Howard were extremely welcoming and hospitable - I felt as if I was staying at a friend’s house. There is no kitchen, but that is explicitly stated in the advertisement and wasn’t a hindrance to me as you have access to a microwave, fridge and hot water (keurig). I had brought food that was able to be reheated in the microwave so it wasn’t a make or break decision. Overall, I will be returning to this air B&B next season. 5/5 stars!
