Accommodation was very clean, in a quiet area. Ideal base for working locally.

Gertie was always very responsive, flexible with check in and checkout which was great for us travelling a long way, overall worth the money we paid as a group!

Kerry has thought of everything to make guests feel at home. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable, very comfortable bed too. Great to have on site parking. One of the best airbnb's weve stayed in. Kerry is friendly and helpful. Kerry's place is ideally situated for visiting the Kelpies, the Falkirk Wheel and Callendar House. We'd happily return, thanks Kerry.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Yvonne. Le logement était impeccable et correspondait à la description. La proximité du centre d'Edinburgh et la possibilité de prendre les bus nous a beaucoup aidées. Seul bémol : une des deux chambres devrait avoir deux lits simples plutôt qu'un grand lit.

This was perfect for what we needed, and was just as described. The hosts were very quick in their response when we needed something in the house that we couldn't find. The house was warm and cosy, plenty of crockery, and bits and pieces like tea and coffee, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and so on. A great stay. Thanks!

We LOVED staying here! It’s a beautiful home (even bigger than it looks in the pictures) next to a great local pub and surrounded by gorgeous countryside. Adrian was super helpful, consistently going above and beyond to ensure we had a fab stay. 10/10!

This house was exactly as advertised. Spacious and beautiful. Perfect for two families. Check in was easy and Jacki was very responsive.

we have just left Howford house after a lovely 3 night weekend stay to celebrate my husbands 40th. we were a family of 14 adults, 2 children and a newborn baby and we had the most peaceful comfortable stay. the house is fantastic, it has everything you need and the location although super private and peaceful, it was near restaurants, the coop supermarket, Traquair House and land which we got discounted because we were house guests, and lots of walks and hikes. the surrounding acres were stunning with the frost and autumn leaves. we all loved our stay, the kids (and the adults) didn't want to leave. special thanks to Elaine the housekeeper who was brilliant with her communication and help. we will recommend and be back in the future.

Entering this well appointed, beautiful home, there is a feeling of warmth and relaxation. The skylights bring in the natural light to the bathrooms. The Kitchen is modern and sleek, with everything you need to make a first class meal. The visually stunning, spacious backyard has a wonderful garden. There is a park just behind the house. My daily jog would lead me down to the beach. Here i would do a quick cold plunge- rejuvenating my body. The area is surrounded by a world renowned collection of golf clubs. The Longniddry golf club is a short walk and is a fun track. Thank you for being great hosts.

Really enjoyed our stay for a family celebration, great open plan kitchen, living, dining and garden lovely for spending time altogether. Flexible bedrooms - able to make one a twin. Clean, well equipped and luxurious feel. Two full bathrooms. Street is quiet, feels safe and parking easy, no shops, cafes, bars etc. within close walking distance. Bus or Uber both easy to get into city centre and was nice to escape the hustle and bustle after a day sightseeing and at the festival. Suspect price was higher due to time of year and compared to other properties we viewed were very happy we chose this one. Rachel was very prompt with communication, instructions, restaurant recommendations and help when required.

Very welcoming upon arrival, showed us where everything is. Good appliances. Comfy atmosphere. Very willing couple, will help you out with what they can! Eg; directions, places to eat/drink. Hot tub nice and clean. Can’t fault the place or the hosts. Genuinely a good night stay. Recommend 100%

To only give this Airbnb a 5 star rating feels very unfair, if I could have given it higher I would have. The property was beautifully presented, had amazing large communal spaces, with a very high standard of furniture, furnishings, and cleanliness. Our room was spacious and luxurious. The beds were great quality, and it was full of nice extra touches. The hosts were extremely generous, gracious, and friendly. A fantastic experience for us that will be hard for anyone else to top. We will definitely try to book this accommodation in the future when we are in the area. I have been fortunate enough to have many great experiences using Airbnb, but this was easily the Best.

We stayed here last year for a long weekend and decided to come back with more friends as we enjoyed the place so much last time. The house has everything you would ever need and is very modern and clean. The hot tubs were refilled each morning and were a perfect way to relax. We had 2 of the properties next to each other and it worked perfectly for a big group os us. James was very quick at responding and was very helpful. Would highly recommend.

Excellent place with very good rooms and en suite bathrooms. The rooms on the second level were a bit small but very comfortable. The living area was huge and the kitchen was very well equipped. The hot tub was a great addition and helped us a lot when we returned from golf. The location is very good and an easy 10 min drive to the main part of the city. The drive to St Andrews was very easy and convenient. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend this Airbnb.
