Lovely place, location was beautiful with scenic views from the hot tub. Place was clean and comfortable. The place even had a friendly cat with cutest meows (I love cats) so I was chuffed.

Had an awesome two day stay. The cottage was superb, all the amenities were as described and surpassed my expectations. We enjoyed a few coffee's, drinks and food in The ship in Aberporth and we booked a taxi local to Sharon and Charlie, who was there within a few minutes of us phoning. Delightful driver by the name of Gary, who we booked on both days. I cannot recommend this cottage enough and hope to in the future return.

We had an excellent stay. All amenities were close by. The house was clean and everything we required was available. The hot tub was lovely. The walk to the beach was fine, but difficult if young kids were with you, or not reasonably fit. We would definitely stay again!

Relaxing break even with kids in tow. The kids loved the farm animals and the very friendly goats were a definite hit. The hot tub was great and the fact we could let the dog run around the field at the back of the garden was good I'm not sure if this would change when the campsite is open. But taking the dog down to the river was enough to tire her out. The river is deep enough in parts for a dog to swim. The woodland walk was lovely its only a very short walk that could be a little tricky if you're unsteady on your feet. Our 8 and 11 year old loved it. We even had a dip in the river. In all we had a lovely stay and would happily stay again.

Amazing experience and Carolyn was so helpful with everything at the cottage and with her recommendations to eat. Celebrated a birthday which Carolyn kindly let me decorate for the occasion. Beautiful scenery and fishing in the lake on the property whilst watching the ducks and geese was lovely.

Great location to explore west Wales from. Easy to find with the very clear instructions from the host. Lovely, quiet spot. Property was immaculately clean and tidy, well equipped with basic kitchen items. Brief chats with the host were welcoming and friendly. My partner and granddaughter loved the hot tub too (even though it had rained all day!).

We had a lovely short break at Helen’s. The apartment is spacious and elegant, hot tub with robes and fluffy towels a proper treat and the pony, donkey and 3 dogs who came to visit us were an absolute joy. The bed is super comfy. A lovely walk through their woodland and along the river bank took us right into the centre of Aberaeron where there’s a good selection of excellent foodie outlets. Helen and Wyn are very welcoming and even offered to drive us into Aberaeron and pick us up again had we been eating out in the evening. Can highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again. Had a lovely stay over the Christmas period with family. Beautiful property, exactly as described in the profile and pics. Very short drive to the coast where there are some great walks. Definitely looking to come back again.

Perfect getaway. Very clean and had everything you could possibly need and more. The treats left for us were a lovely touch but the toy and treats left for Teasel, our cocker spaniel, were very well received. Squeaky donkey is now her favourite toy. Alison was a very responsive host and answered our questions very quickly.

This was our second stay here, which says it all - everything is perfect - the excellent location, beautiful decor, pristine cleanliness, comfortable beds etc etc ….100% recommend

We have just had a wonderful few days at Dan's beautiful house. The weather was really bad for part of our stay, but it was so lovely being able to walk to restaurants (thanks to Dan's brilliant recommendations) and light the lovely wood burner in the evenings. The house itself is beautifully restored and super convenient for a family with a toddler. We didn't end up using the car once during our stay as there were so many things to do within easy walking distance. Thank you so much to Dan and his family for being such brilliant hosts!

We had a lovely peaceful few days. The cottage was clean and comfortable and the enclosed garden is perfect (we did keep one dog on a lead as he is tall and we didn’t trust he wouldn’t try to jump as there were sheep in the neighbouring field). We were left some milk and Welsh cakes which was a lovely touch. The setting is perfect and whilst a lot of the walking trails in the forest are shut due to storm damage, the car parks are open and we still did some lovely hikes on the fire roads. The pub in Brechfa was fantastic - dog friendly, nice staff and delicious food. We would love to return :)

Lovely cottage close to fantastic walks and beaches. We found the space cosy and comfortable. It was a shame the log burner was out of action but this obvs didn’t spoil our stay.

We had a wonderful time! The cottage was lovely and cosy and as described. It had everything we needed so we could cook our meals and included all the bedding as well. There was a lovely little outside space too which would have been wonderful in warm weather. Unfortunately when we stayed we were unable to use the fire due to crows nesting which was a shame, especially as it was very cold and windy for us, so it might be worth checking for anyone else if this is one of the main features that appealed like it did for ourselves. There was no local shops but Tenby was a short drive away with plenty of places to visit and lots of beaches nearby so the location was great. There is a local pub but only open Friday and Saturday evening. Sleeping arrangement was great as well but there is no door between the snug and the lounge so be aware if you have anyone sleeping on the sofa bed like we did. Overall a beautiful cottage in a great place, we’ll definitely be back.

We loved our stay and are already planning to return for longer. The area is stunning with amazing views, beaches and enough to do in Cardigan which is just a short drive. The cottage is quiet, well maintained, clean and has everything needed for a longer stay. There was more than enough space for me, my partner and our two dogs and it was great value for money. Fiona was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The guest book provided a lot of local info which helped us explore the area. Highly recommend staying here if you're after a quiet and affordable stay.

Perfect little cottage for our short notice stay. Lovely garden space and very quiet which is what we were looking for. Short walk to a lovely pub/restaurant and a shop with all you need. Great base for trips into Newquay and Aberaeron .

Such a special place! We absolutely loved the cottage and its beautiful surroundings. There is so much to explore nearby - wonderful walks begin just a short drive away, or you can even start right from the cottage. Whether you are out discovering the area or simply relaxing in front of the fire, it is the perfect escape. I can’t recommend it highly enough and would definitely love to return! Rob was also very responsive, thank you again!

fantastic place to stay and it was clean & peaceful location

Alex’s place is perfect to recharge from everyday grind..the surroundings are beautiful with lots of open space and things to do. Chalet is very clean and has everything you need. Swimming pool is the highlight despite some rain, we absolutely enjoyed each swim as covered. Views are gorgeous. Alex is there every text. Netflix was not working and he went to buy a new tv even late in the evening! He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We highly recommend Maesgwynne and we will definitely go back again.

I had a lovely peaceful time at the Granary, a pretty, very well equipped cottage that has everything you might need for stays of different lengths, and there is your own parking space. From here I explored many parts of this beautiful area. From Dylan Thomas's home Laugharne to castles, beaches and the stunning Pembrokeshire coastal path, Tenby and many charming towns. A nature lover's paradise. Mark and Diana are great hosts and I would 100% recommend this airbnb.

We stayed as a family for four nights over a beautiful mid week full of sunshine. The cottage felt like a home, with quality furniture, fittings, bedding, etc, everything we needed. Beyond the cottage is magical, from walking to the waterfall with all the wild garlic in flower, and the beach a short walk up and down the track. The kids were free to romp off as much or as little as they liked. Kathy was proactive and in touch, making sure we were all set, and made sure we had a wonderful holiday. A big thanks to her. We shall be back for another holiday not doubt.

We had a lovely time at the cottage. The area is beautiful, a one-minute walk from the beach and with nice walking areas. The place itself is lovely, cozy and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and we felt at home. There were cute bunnies just outside our window, which was so nice to wake up to. The view is stunning and the beach was perfect for our beach-loving dog, but would be very suitable for young children as well. The hosts were responsive and caring, we definitely recommend it and would stay there again. Thank you!

Firstly, we both want to thank Oeter for allowing us to stay in such a beautiful cottage. It was clean, cosy, quiet, homely...just everything as was described! Everything to the last detail was thought out, including walking routes, local restuarants and pubs there is an entire wall of leaflets as soon as you enter the property of everything that area of south wales has to offer so you really are spoilt for choice. The property was clean and imaculate and with everything you needed, such a stunning place to stay! If you are looking for a quiet retreat for a few days look no further! 10/10 will deffo be coming back! Thank you again for such a lovely stay! Martin & Cara
