Much of the island is still undergoing reconstructive efforts. The beaches are open and restaurants have begun reopening. Keep in mind, rebuilding takes a while so the surrounding areas may be be as picture perfect as they once were. But with the help of mindful visitors, Manasota Key and its residents will have the place back to its former glory.
