One of the most unique Airbnb places we've stayed in. The apartment has a lot of stairs, but climbing up them is well worth the effort! It is situated on the top floor of an old bank. It's been renovated to be bright and modern with an open concept. The high ceilings and large windows, makes the place airy and bright. Beds were comfortable. A full kitchen had everything needed. Lots of hot water-pressure great. Extra bonuses - a balcony off the back of the apartment overlooks the Manistee River and there's a vintage movie theater just across the street. The river is a freighter channel with drawbridges! You can check in advance to see when ships will pass and if you are lucky, you may see one. The Vouge theater seems to show one new movie, a classic movie, and an indy type movie. The rest of the neighborhood is all 19th century/early 20th century buildings - pubs, coffee shops, a restaurant, antique shops, etc. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is only 50 mins away. Two Lakes Lodge was the perfect place to kick off our Michigan trip! We loved it so much, we already booked our next stay! The home was spotless, beautifully updated, and in the absolute best location. Right in the heart of town! Walking distance to several restaurants, coffee shop, local markets, and ice cream! We noticed a few reviews mention water pressure or a sulfur smell, but we simply followed the host’s tip to run the water for a few minutes when we arrived and we had zero issues. The water was hot, pressure was great, and everything worked perfectly. Truly a wonderful stay. You won’t be disappointed!

The place was a perfect stay for our day of golf at Arcadia. Hosts were great and responded quickly with anything we need. Including checking on things we potentially left behind. They could not have been more spot on referring us to Grille 44 for drinks and dinner, walkable if you’re up for it. 10/10 would stay here again!

Rebecca’s place was perfect for me and my family we had such an amazing time. There home was so clean and I’m a clean freak lol lots of fun activities to do in and outside witch we loved tippy dam is right down the street! Which was perfect for my husband and his fishing love love love this place different coming again next year

Alicia is the best host ever. Always flexible if needed. I always feel right at home when I book with her. You need nothing other than your gear and clothes. Thank you for being such an amazing host for all the years I have been coming up there.

My husband and I loved this AirBnb. We watched the most beautiful sunset on kayaks and ate breakfast with lake Portage as our view. There was a really great nature trail within walking distance of the place too where you could take your dog for a walk.

This house is a perfect place for a weekend escape and has great cozy vibes to help make you feel refreshed after your stay. We have always wanted to visit Manistee in the winter and this house made our weekend getaway very special. It is close enough to downtown to walk and get coffee and visit the many restaurants and shops Manistee has to offer. It is also very close to Chopo’s Northside Bar which had live music on Saturday night and is always a welcoming space. Would love to come back and spend more time here.

Our stay at Dan's place was fantastic. This is the second time we have stayed here. The area is beautiful and it is hard to beat the waterfront view. Dan was extremely accommodating and very responsive. I would not hesitate to book this house again!

What a fantastic stay! Everything was great, super comfortable, the interior decor was above and beyond, and the binder with local recommendations came in handy! Probably the best part of our stay was the full size kitchen stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils you would need to make a batch of sausage biscuits and gravy to take over to Grandma's house for Easter brunch which is exactly what we did.

Carolyn was so beyond accommodating and helpful! Her space was so beautifully eclectic and a joy to exist in! Beyond thankful for such a wonderful host!

Overall, excellent choice for us for the first leg of our golf trip at Arcadia Bluffs.

I would return in a heartbeat! This home was clean, well stocked, beautifully decorated, and we felt right at home. We had exactly what we needed for 3 nights for a small getaway. The community pool and hot tub were very nice as well. Can't wait to come back for another visit.

Great place to stay that was super close and walkable to Buck lift. It was so convenient and the condo was a great size for our family and grandparents that came along. Would stay again!

We traveled with another couple and had such a nice time in this beautiful space! Right by the water and super walkable to downtown. They had everything we needed for a great few days. Comfy beds too. It’s right next to the bridge so some might not like the noise, but it didn’t bother us a bit! Made people watching all the more interesting!

We loved our stay in Manistee. Can't beat the location - walkable to stores, restaurants, beach. Everything we needed during our stay was there! Super nice place with great decor - feels fresh and new! We loved relaxing on the balcony and enjoying the view. An added bonus was seeing a freighter come through on its way in as well as on its way out. We had the best seats in the area for ship viewing! An app to a guidebook for our stay was provided making it super easy to get all of the information that we needed. Be aware that the lock changes right at the set departure time. All in all, we are thankful to have had the opportunity to stay at a perfect location in Manistee! Such a beautiful area of Michigan!

We’ve been coming up to Michigan from Southeast MO for 30 years and have always loved our stay in Harbor Village. The community is always a great place for families, beautiful marina and beach with lots to do at the condos’ amenities. This condo was great for us and our two kids, as well as my brother and sister-in-law to share. Loved the large kitchen table, big couch, and fully stocked kitchen! The condo itself was very clean! Phil was very responsive with any questions I had. We had ZERO issues whatsoever during our trip thanks to their great planning! Can’t wait to return!

We would stay again. The location was great, walkable to downtown and beautiful view of the bridge. The beds were comfortable. We didn’t spend much time but it was the perfect spot to rest our heads.

“The Place” was perfect for our sisters trip. Awesome location, very spacious and comfortable, nice back porch to relax on. Cathy was excellent with communication. Our time in Manistee was wonderful!
