The Film Shack: A Sweetwater Stay

Located on the shore of Tully Pond, The Film Shack is a newly designed water front vacation home with breathtaking views of Tully Mountain. This 4-season home features four bedrooms, a screening room, a video game nook and a bonus guest cottage. The personal home of filmmakers Patti Moreno and Robert Patton-Spruill, it is decorated in the "Atomic Age" style. Maple floors, aviation, and cargo style furniture, stainless steel bathroom and kitchen with a wood stove for those chilly fall mornings.

Couple/family fun all year in a charming, private Cape Cod cottage w/ screened in porch, patio & outdoor shower (in Nov/Dec/Jan becomes a Gingerbread cottage). Inside: open living space w/ queen bed & sitting space. Ladder leads to a short height sleeping loft w/ 2 twin beds. Full bathroom w/ indoor shower. Kitchenette- see description below. We supply tea, local coffee, spices, condiments, gas grill, ice chests, beach towels & chairs. To sleep up to 8, also rent our Upper Room on Airbnb.

The location is right at the foot the hiking trails of Mt. Tom, a 20 min walk to idyllic downtown Easthampton.

Centrally located with easy access to highways, train stations, etc. Next to a park with hiking trails, this is a secondary unit (Duplex units) with its own separate entry/exit. 3 bedrooms (one on lower level, two on 2nd level), kitchen, 2 baths (both on lower level). ~2000 square feet of space. Some seasons (including some winters) we have hens in the backyard...

There are many fun attractions around our house. The red apple farm, where you can pick apples and eat the best apple cider donuts. We have Mt. Wachussett at just 15 minutes away. Where you can ski or attend one of their great festivities. A movie theater five minutes away, there's a starbucks and a dunkin' donuts and many other restaurants and shop markets. The best part is while you're surrounded by everything you need youre staying in the most peaceful place there is.

The quaint town sits at the base of Mount Greylock with hiking and bike trails within minutes of your accommodations. Restaurants, grocery store and a 9 hole golf course are in walking distance. Welcome to The Creation Station. I am your host John. The Creation Station was built with love and care by me with my friends and family. Amenities? Pool, jacuzzi tub, projector, giant deck and a stage with sound system, drums amps and karaoke input. The most unique amenity though is The Enchanted Forest. A lit trail surrounding the property.
