Our house is the last on a quiet "no outlet" street on one of the best hidden coves on Lake James. It’s only a couple hundred yards to the main channel and big Mountain View’s and sunsets. Our home is comfortable and expansive. A place to relax, fish, swim, use our 4 kayaks, or tie up your own boat or pontoon rental for your stay. Black Bear, Hidden Cove, or Canal Bridge are the closest boat launches. We now have lightening fast Star-link internet for remote workers and your entertainment!

Lake James is a gem in western North Carolina, and this perfect little cottage will be your home away from home while you are here! Located right in the central section of Lake James, you are within 2 miles of state parks, boat launch ramps, and Fonta Flora Brewery just to name a few close places! Waterfront on Lake James, this cozy cabin feels like your favorite pair of Blue Jeans. Located right next to Lake James Marina, it’s the best waterfront value on the lake. Three queen beds offer a variety of sleeping options. This is a small cabin and the second floor has a low ceiling height. Only a 1/4 mile drive to the entrance of Lake James State Park. Relax in the hammock or watch TV on the 500 square foot deck with a beautiful view of the lake. Best deck on the lake!

Escape the noise of your everyday world at our National Wildlife Federation Certified Habitat! Your space is a 700 sf, 1 bedroom (queen bed), 1 bath area above (exterior stairs) our garage. We have a gravel, long, steep driveway (AWD\FWD ARE RECOMMENDED) & we’re tucked in down at the bottom of a 10 acre forest. No internet, wifi or tv service, but we guarantee you a better connection to nature! Unplug, disconnect and take in, savor the magick that is Tamarca Hollow!

While I often escape to this sanctuary for personal retreats, I believe in sharing its beauty with guests.

Located in the private, gated community of Gateway Mountain, a 3,000-acre nature preserve, A Celestial Chalet is pet friendly & offers a hot tub, deck, screened porch, fire table, in-home movie theater & game room, and stunning year-round mountain views. This rental is pet-friendly with an additional $100 fee per dog (maximum of 2 dogs allowed). Please include the number of dogs when making your reservation.
