Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. The loft has a bedroom, separate shower and toilet spaces, work area, sitting room, kitchen space, and heating/cooling fresh air system. Private Cottage in Gated Nudist Community

We offer a private cottage on the grounds of Lake O the Woods Club. Cottage has Queen size bed, air conditioning, heater, refrigerator, microwave, TV, coffee maker, work/dining area, private deck and porta-potty. Payment of club daily grounds fee ($30-$60) is optional . Pricing on club website. There is no running water in the cottage. Bathrooms, showers, hot tub, sauna and swimming pool are available at the clubhouse and pool area after payment of grounds fees.

This fully updated place has everything to feel right at home. The kitchen is provided with everything you need to prepare a meal. Plenty of places to eat out are just down the street. A 43" Samsung smart TV with Sling TV and Paramount Plus. When it's time to rest you'll do so on a brand new Nectar memory foam beds.

The Oak Tree Lodge is located in a country setting and offers a private lodge with an outdoor area for relaxing and entertaining. The former barn structure has been beautifully transformed in a rustic and comfortable lodge to rest, relax, and renew. We have renewed it into a fresh new life - as a lodge to invite friends and guests to enjoy and relax. The listed rate is for four people, and additional quests will be $25.00 per person.

Flint Lake Cottage.

This is a rustic cottage with old world charm. There are 2 fireplaces,. The home sits on a hill overlooking the channel that leads to Flint Lake. - Pet free -May not be appropriate for people with mobility issues. - Earth friendly cleaning products - Private beach & park access - Easy access to city center & university - One hour from downtown Chicago - National Lakeshore and Dunes State Park nearby - Wood fireplaces (winter only!)
