Gas central heating fitted - Attractive, 1 bedroomed (double or twin), comfy, semi detached, self catering cottage for 2 in the rural crofting township of Melvaig, 9 miles NW of Gairloch with seaviews to Skye and the Western Isles and just off the NC500. The property is for a minimum of 3 nights. Perfect base for relaxing. A few minutes to the shore and 30 mins walk along to peaceful beaches. Jetty nearby which you can drive down to and take your own kayaks there too.

Bathe in a cold mountain stream, see the stars in the dark night sky, feel the heat from a crackling fire, and fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

Wave Break Apartment (Self catering)

For 2026 season dates are released every few weeks! Our 1.5 storey self contained apartment is aimed at maximising sea views, light & space. Inspired by the landscape and culture, style and decor also focuses on comfort and versatility. Wave Break Apartment comfortably accommodates two adults & an infant or older child. We can host 3 adults on request. We have twin beds, a cot and a fold down bed. Croft noise such as dogs, cats, machinery and children playing can be heard at times.

The Bothy @ Corriness

A traditional stone built Highland bothy with twin bed mezzanine sleeping arrangement, walk in shower, log burning stove and full self catering facilities. A delightfully bright, cozy and open plan living space. Situated in the village of Poolewe, a short stroll from the sea and the the world famous Inverewe Gardens. The perfect base to enjoy the wonderful scenery of the North Coast 500, Wester Ross, its stunning beaches and endless walks. Free from the stress of the wider world.

Munro Pod, sea views, peaceful couples retreat.

Large pod 6m in length and 3.3m wide, within a 8 minute drive from Arisaig. Silversands is a family run Business located in a picturesque Highland location. The pod sits directly on the coastline with the beach directly to the front of the pod. The location is perfect for people who appreciate the beautiful scenery and a relaxing holiday in a very quiet location. Gael

Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

Ben View Pod, Breakish, Isle of Skye IV42 8QB

You will receive a warm welcome when you visit Ben View Pod, at Scullamus , Breakish, Isle of Skye. The pod is ideally situated to allow you to leisurely visit all the major tourist attractions and the many other hidden gems, located on our beautiful Island. The pod has a panoramic view stretching from Beinn na Caillich - towering 732 metres above the village of Broadford to the west - and to the Applecross hills (made of some of the oldest rocks in the world) to the east.

Rose Cottage - Coastal, Rural & Cosy! NC500

Situated in North West Scottish Highlands approximately 80 miles from Inverness, in a beautiful and tranquil setting, 10 minutes walk from the local beach and a short drive to Mellon Udrigle a sensationally beautiful beach. It is a good area for walkers of all abilities. There is ample parking for two cars and a there is a garden with tables and chairs and a barbeque. Dogs accommodated, but there are sheep around so they must be kept under control.
