We had such a fantastic stay at Dean’s place! It felt like visiting an old friend you didn’t know you had, plus his adorable cat. Dean gave us amazing local tips that made our Edinburgh trip extra special. The location is perfect, well-connected by public transport, and the bedroom was clean and quiet. Talking with Dean was one of the highlights of our stay, he’s kind, funny, and full of great stories. Thank you so much for everything, Dean! We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Great location. Easy check in. Very clean. Only downside was the room was warm and window only opens so far for safety reasons.

the accommodation was clean and exactly what was described and walkable to Colgate 20 minutes. lots of useful shops and restaurants around. A bit pricey but a great location

Lovely apartment. Very quiet. Easy to get into Edinburgh by train. Lots of local shops and rey.

Student hall converted to hotel/hostel during the summer, it seems some reviewers didn’t know or understand this which explains the bad reviews. The place was spotless, had everything you need if it’s just a place to sleep, wash, store your belongs and prep lunch. Don’t expect a 5* hotel, you get what you pay for and this place is good value. Perfect for a trip to Edinburgh fringe!

Amazing Stay! I had a great experience staying at Jack and Dawn’s Airbnb. Dawn handled all communication and was very responsive and helpful, making the process smooth. The place was clean, exactly as described, and easy to check into. The neighborhood was nice, quiet, and had a very relaxed atmosphere—it truly felt like home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Beautiful apartment set amongst lovely row houses that’s just a short walk from the city center and the harbor, right next door to the Royal Botanical Gardens.

Spacious and characterful apartment in a great location. Brilliantly equipped kitchen, very large and comfortable living room and lovely bedrooms. Lots of great places to eat and drink nearby with the whole city centre easily accessible on foot. Angus and Piipa were really helpful and very quick to respond. Highly recommended for a city break with a very homely feel.

Abbiamo soggiornato le nostre sue bambine sue notti. L’host è stato molto attivo nel darci prima tutte le indicazioni, ci ha fornito informazioni sui ristoranti della zona. La casa è pulita e c’è tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno per un breve soggiorno. Il pezzo è proporzionato alla città che è cara.

Absolutely fantastic hosts! and perfect location in Edinburgh, literally a tram or bus ride from the centre and really lovely neighborhood. Can't fault Sue or her husband on their hosting, we were treated as part of the family.

We recently stayed in this caravan as a family of 4, and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like a home away from home; cosy and inviting, with thoughtful touches that made the space feel warm and welcoming, everything was exactly as advertised. Well-equipped, comfortable beds, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We highly recommend this caravan for anyone looking for a peaceful and homely getaway!

Duc’s home was extremely tidy and well-maintained, and we really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. It was also very convenient, with a bus stop just 3–4 minutes away and shops, takeaways, and a bar close by. Duc is a wonderful host. We absolutely adored Cookie the dog — she was so friendly! Our 10-day stay in Edinburgh was wonderful, and we would definitely love to book this place again.

We booked Susannah's property to host a family get together with people travelling from as far away as New Zealand. The property turned out to be perfect for the 5 of us but would have been just as perfect for 8. This property is clearly someone's home, it has a completely different feeling to many of the antiseptic business properties that we have stayed in before and I felt this was entirely positive. The decor is great and the facilities even better with 3 large bathroom's offering great showers. The location was perfect for exploring Edinburgh as it was well served by the excellent bus system with the tram available for longer journeys. It would also be walkable to the centre of town but we chose to save our energy for exploring. We never failed to find parking nearby when required but chose to leave our cars in the free park & ride carpark that was accessible via a £2 bus. I cannot recommend this property too highly and would definitely return again if numbers required.

Kamil, was a fantastic host. As I was his first long stay rental he outlined his rules. Respect to privacy but also sociable and volunteered to take me with him when he did grocery shopping or going for take out meals. His place felt like a second home, and asked me before going into the room I rented if he had to access items stored there. The keyless door lock and outdoor camera made me feel secure. With the kitchen I had my own cupboard space as well as space in the fridge and freezer for my food, as well as instructed me in the use of the cooker and washing machine ( different from Canada).

What an absolutely gorgeous place. We were there during a really cold spell but the house was so lovely and warm. Gorgeous furnishings. Very spacious even with all the Christmas decorations - the place felt very festive. Not too long a walk to get into town or to catch a tram but we used taxis due to the weather and there was never a problem getting one. House was pristine and the decor was great. Bedrooms spacious with very comfortable beds. Paige responded to my messages within minutes. I would definitely recommend people to stay here. Yes - it’s more expensive than some places in Edinburgh - but you get what you pay for and here you get true quality and comfort. The photos are very accurate …..what you see is what you get.
