We had a great time, nice tucked away cabin, hot tub was fantastic, and the space is super cute. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Check in was easy, cute secluded place but close to things to do.

Gorgeous apartment, hosts were very accommodating and responsive. The apartment was clean and organized. Scenic and quiet location with no disturbances!!

Had a wonderful stay at this modern lake house. The home was beautifully designed, and felt very private. The kitchen was gorgeous with a great stove, plenty of space, and lots of natural light from all the windows — and the dimmable lights created a cozy, welcoming ambiance in the evenings. The big beds were extremely comfortable, and there was more than enough room for everything we needed. The lake was beautiful and peaceful, and the sound of the peepers at night made it feel even more relaxing. Had a few minor things pop but the host was responsive. Overall, it was a fantastic staycation, and we would stay here again.

It was the perfect little cozy place to stay while we were snowmobiling. Could not beat the price for the space we had! We will definitely stay again!

This cabin was very well kept, cleaned and comfortable. There were many accommodations there that were helpful for a week long stay. The owners were great to deal with and check in/check out were very smooth. If you’re looking for a place to stay in northern Maine this is it!

I wanted a private lakefront Maine cottage for our vacation and that is exactly what I got. It’s like stepping into a movie set, one of those great lakeside cabins that have been in the family for years and years. I half expected to see Steve Carell to come around the corner. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds comfy with great linens and tons of pillows, and the shower was hot with great pressure. It’s decorated with family heirlooms and antiques and it just welcomes you like an old friend. There are a lot of good family memories in this place and we were happy that we got a chance to add our own. This place is a jewel. Thanks Ashley for being such a great host and sharing your family home with us. Cudos to Evin as well for being there if we needed anything! I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. My husband and I travel a lot and have stayed in many vacation rentals. This is our favorite.

Matthews Trailside Cabins are clean, very new, very comfortable and wisely set up. We stayed because we were arriving late and unsure of crossing MH lake at a late hour we would stay again if same circumstances occur.

Spent a week on a family snowmobiling trip at Greg's place. This spot offers access to some of the absolute best riding in the state! The place was very accommodating and spacious. It is a true camp, but certainly has some modern amenities and comforts. Just remember, it is a true Maine camp. If you are looking for a place to use as HQ for a snowmobile or ATV trip, I highly recommend Greg's place. Greg is also a very responsive and helpful host.

We had a great few days at Moose Run Camp (we even saw a moose up the road!) The location is right on the main road between Milo and Millinocket which is a perfect location for easy access to facilities such as groceries and laundry whilst also being close to access the back country. The camp has all modern facilities such as television, wifi and hot water with a shower. It was a perfect compromise for us, between camping in the wilderness or staying in a town centre, as we were travelling from Europe and not able to bring all that is needed for a wilderness camp. The camp had soap, toilet paper, bedding and towels we really only needed to bring food and drinking water.

My sisters and I had a wonderful four days at Kitahdin's Rest. The setting is spectacular, especially when you kayak or canoe or ski out to the middle of the lake (or even just out of the bay) and see Mount Kitahdin in all her glory. It is very close to Baxter Park, which was why we chose Erin's cabin. We could get to the Togue Pond Gate in 15 minutes with all the exquisite trails in front of us. The cabin had what we needed and we were very comfortable.

Adorable cabin with just what you need and a friendly host! Private, peaceful location. Perfect for a quiet getaway weekend! The area has so much to offer from snowmobiling to ATVing, hiking and site seeing. Check out the local farm stands! Also, Salted Butter Farm in Sherman and Katahdin Brew Works for local food and brews with friendly staff!

The location was a perfect escape for our girls weekend! We had a blast and loved the cabin!!

When we booked acabana, we were looking for a typical local experience and we found this cabin! Excellent location, quiet, very close to the river (you could hear the sound of the water!) and wonderful accommodation. Not only was everything clean and tidy, but the decoration of the hut was perfect and blended in with the surroundings. we will definitely be returning in the summer!

We had such a great time kayaking and exploring the gorgeous Mountains! The house is in good location to both NEOC and Baxter state park and the host responds in a timely manner! Overall great location in Millinocket.

This was a great place for our family of 4 to stay. Clean, taken care of, and had everything we needed to be comfortable for a long weekend of ice fishing! Even in a snow storm, we were able to keep warm in the cabin while still catching a few fish! Jenn was a great host. She was easy to talk with and responsive!

You won’t be disappointed! Lovely cabin and beautiful lake.

This was our second time staying at one of Bob and Deb’s properties and again it was wonderful! The place is beautiful, serene, and a short walk to the lake. There was even an AC, which is a luxury for a cabin in the woods. Also, Bob and Deb are such kind and responsive hosts. We will 100% stay at one of their properties again.

Bill, was exceptionally responsive to my emails. The lodge has many extras. Our stay was in early April and since it was mud season we were not able to use all that was offered such as the trails, swing set, fire pit, and grill. But that is Maine in April and we knew that. But those looking for those amenities they are there and available. Also the lodge would be perfect for those interested in hunting and fishing in the Milo area or just looking to get away to nature for a few days. Thank you Bill!
