A wonderful stay, the house was easy to find, a nice quiet street. The house was even better than the photos. Marie was so responsive and proactive with suggestions. We will definitely be back!

Very nice place. It was very clean and well stocked. Neighbors around but very private. Beautiful setting. Krista was very responsive and helpful. The decor was nicely done. The house does have a lived in look and the couch is a bit worn. The beds were all comfortable. Beautiful deck and nice hot tub. The pool table is worn with a slope. It was fine for a friendly game, but don’t plan on a serious game. About 45 minutes to Asheville. We first arrived in the dark, which made it a bit interesting finding the house. All in all we loved the place and would gladly go back. Only problem, we never saw Gomez the cat.

It would have been a nice place to stay but my daughter is deathly afraid of dogs. So she didn’t get to see inside the Airbnb. Thank you for being understanding!! Your dog seemed friendly too. My daughter stresses me out though so I wasn’t ok with the dog as well. We weren’t expecting any dogs as well. Thank you!!

You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place in every way. Host was some of the friendliest people you will ever encounter. More than helpful in every way. Absolutely beautiful place to stay with wildlife abundant. I would highly recommend for anyone to come visit if nothing else more than to spend a couple days but be warned…. You won’t want to leave

Second stay. Wonderful place for larger groups/families. Winds knocked power lines down & small fire started. Brittany not only messaged me to make sure we were okay, she also sent her dad over to check on us! Can’t ask for a better host. This is home away from home.

This place was so beautiful. We had a big group and it was such a spacious and accommodating place. Communication was fast, absolutely no complaints. We are looking to come back soon!

From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was a breeze, the space was spotless, and every little detail felt thoughtfully curated. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. The home was cozy, stylish, and had all the comforts you’d hope for (plus a few extra touches that made it feel special). Communication was quick and friendly, and they made sure I felt welcome the entire time. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend!

Great place to stay and very quiet. It had everything I needed. Clear check-in instructions, and it was easy to come and go without the host needing to be there. Very clean! I will stay there again when in town.

Dave’s Place was the perfect little retreat for a nice weekend to get out and explore the area. The drive to the home is incredibly beautiful!! The bed was comfy as was the sectional to relax and drink my morning coffee! We cooked breakfast in the mornings and had everything needed to do so. Kathy’s little dog Pearl was an added bonus to greet us when we came and went. We will definitely come back!!! Thank you Kathy!!!

We were coming in for a weekend hiking at Carvers Gap and the closest hotels were over 60 minutes away from Roan Mountain. This house was less than a 10 minute drive. Thankfully, while there was hurricane Helene damage all around town, the house escaped any damage. The kitchen had coffee pods and half and half… the washer and dryer in unit looked amazing… and we made an awesome fire outside by the river. We also only decided to book this house at 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon and Samantha approved it within an hour.

We had a great weekend get away. I really didn’t want to leave . The cabin is beautiful and has everything you need. My family loved it and already wants to go back . There is a steep climb up the mountain you will need four wheel drive .

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The location by the river is perfect. The attention to detail here at cabin is remarkable. It had everything we needed and more. Kim was an amazing host. We hope to come back in the future.

Beautiful log cabin. Spent the weekend visiting family living nearbyso needed sleeping and bath accommodations. Very cozy and peaceful in very quiet setting. Ed was readily available if needed.

Stayed here as a birthday/anniversary trip and really enjoyed our stay! Linville Caverns, Grand Father Mountain, and quite a few other cool mountain areas are not too far away. The Tin Trout is a great local restaurant, if anyone who see’s this review before staying has the chance to, highly recommend it. The house was clean, and wasn’t nearly as hard to get to as I thought it might be. But my little Scion made it up the mountain, so I think about anyone should be good getting there. The area has also recovered a lot from the hurricane. Highly recommend staying here, and definitely explore local areas!

Rick was very helpful when I got into Spruce Pine. He helped me locate the cabin, helped with my equipment and helped me when I fell into hard times with my vehicle. Very nice and helpful!!
