Come enjoy this quiet lakeside setting. The property is situated on the edge of the forest, 100 m from a small lake that connects to Storsjøen. There are plenty of hiking tracks in the forest, and we have two bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside roads. Storsjøen is a large lake great for fishing both in the summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.

There are 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, one bathroom with 2 showers, garage, laundry room, 2 terraces with one of them as a partial winter garden, open plan kitchen and living room. Koselig innredet og godt utstyrt med gode senger, kjøkken, bad og dusj. Til Sjusjøen langrenn 8 km kjøretur, til Hafjell/Hunderfossen Eventyrpark 30 min, og Sjusjøen alpin for familier kun 10 min. Lillehammer sentrum 15 min. Kvelds- og søndagsåpen matbutikk Mesnali 3 min. Sengetøy og håndklær kan leies og må forhåndsbestilles - pris kr 250/£20/€25 pr sett. Ta gjerne med deres eget. Steinhyttene på Kastad Gård - Skogen

Steinhyttene på Kastad gård ligger usjenert til i fantastiske naturomgivelser. Hytta i skogen har som de andre hyttene fantastisk utsikt over Mjøsa og Kastadtjernet. Her kan du koble av og våkne til en deilig frokostkurv med nystekte croissanter. Passer for 2 personer. Skogen er en av 3 steinhytter på gården. De andre to er Røysa og Åkeren. Flott tømmerhytte med vakker utsikt (500 meter over havet) kun en time fra Oslo. Hytta er velutstyrt med peis og vedovn i stuen. Kjøkken med oppvaskmaskin. Hytta har bad med dusj og toalett.
