A haven for relaxation surrounded by native birds, including kiwis, tuis, fantails and wood pigeons, all living on the property. Enjoy a wine on the veranda and watch the boats go by or take a swim at Opito bay- just 5 minutes away. Plenty of room to park the boat plus two launching ramps, a ski lane and some of the best fishing NZ has to offer!

Wild Forest Tree House Eco Retreat + outdoor bath

Like a magic carpet ride in the canopy of the forest. A 120 year old Kauri villa was about to be torn down. We rescued the French doors, sarking, weatherboards, windows, flooring and shower fittings, then used them to build a space nestled into the forest slope, so that with all sets of French doors open, you're not looking down at the canopy. You're living inside it. Everything has had a life before this place. You can feel it.

The Cowshed Cottage

A peaceful rural rustic space to retreat and relax yet minutes from town amenities and the main Northland route. Nestled in the grounds of a 9 acre property half-way along a country cul-de-sac and taking up two thirds of a converted mid-century milking shed building the Cottage is cosy, comfy and self-contained, characterised by quirky charm and surrounded by gardens and birdsong. This is the perfect private holiday retreat. Set amongst the bush clad slopes of the Te Wahapu Peninsula, with no close neighbors, adjacent to an expansive bush reserve with abundant bird life and only 7 km from the historic Russell Township.
