The Hoquiam River support runs of Chinook, chum, and coho salmon, steelhead, and sea-run trout. just a couple of miles upriver from Historic Downtown Hoquiam restaurants, stores and shops, 20 min to coast 45 min drive to Lake Quinault hiking trails South Shore Trailhead.

Welcome to Five Peaks Cottage. Stunning views of Mt. Rainier and Puget Sound. The cottage and companion pirate ship tree house are steps from the shore where you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, and leisurely beach walks. Loft bedroom, 1 1/2 baths, well equipped kitchen, wifi, large deck w/ hot tub, BBQ, bar. Fire pit and lawn at waters edge. On 23 acre horse farm with 510 feet of private beach and 1 1/2 miles of walking trails. Relax, enjoy eagles, blue heron, seals, and an occasional Orca.

You can sit back and enjoy the view of Puget Sound and Mount Rainier from the deck (or from in the hot tub!), listen to the birds sing and the seals barking, and say hello to the friendly neighborhood deer. The house is comfortably situated in the middle of the Hartstene Pointe gated community, which has a number of great amenities for you to enjoy. Our favorite features are the 5 miles of walking trails and beaches all around the point, the pool and pickleball!

Extensive beautiful gardens give everyone the ambiance of a very, very peaceful place. Many love to connect with the friendly farm animals. The BNB is very comfortable & private. The Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Just a mile off the freeway, its easy access to the salt water, walking paths & parks, restaurants, museums, stores. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.

Quinault Cove- Canner’s Cottage

Canners Cottage will be your perfect home base for exploring the lush Quinault Rainforest and Southern half of the Olympic National Park. Enjoy walking the temperate forest on surrounding trails while having the opportunity to see elk, bald eagles, and otters. Adventure the Enchanted Valley from Graves Creek into the home of over 1,000 waterfalls or enjoy a relaxing day reading by the lake. The Kalaloch Beaches(located 35 minutes away) make for a great day trip exploring tide pools!

We’ve upgraded our cottage but it still has that cozy cabin feel that guests love. Private trail across street is a 5 min. walk to the beach. Large backyard with firepit, horseshoes & chairs. Enjoy a break with an evening fire or Netflix movie (Roku smart TV). Log wood/open beams interior with AC/Heat from new mini-split. Comfortably sleeps 3 adults/3-4 children. Relax on the large covered deck that overlooks the passage with gorgeous views of Hartstene Island and the bridge. Powerful heaters let you enjoy the deck even during the coldest and rainiest days. The home offers 120 feet of private beach! You will need to walk the stairs to get to the beach, we are on a medium to high bank.
