Casa Arthur, Transylvanian Heritage House

Casa Arthur is situated in the heart of Transylvania in the village Richis/Reichesdorf. The house keeps his old patine, it's like cozy private museum. Perfect for a peacefull and quiet withdrawal countryside vacation. The guest- rooms are spacious with high ceiling . The kitchen is fully equipated to prepare your meal. There is a completly closed courtyard with a nice big garden, wonderfull place to sit and eat outside and enjoy nature, to discover the transilvanian medieval region.

The apartment is part of a traditional transylanian farmhouse, with a private entryway. The rooms are freshly restored and offer a cozy and calm ambiance. Breakfast is included and consists of delicious, organic and local ingredients, most of them actually being produced on the farm, that you are welcome to visit. Farm to table dinner is available as well, upon request beforehand (at least two days before arrival). We make equisite cheese, butter, charcuterie and other delicious treats.

The Ideal Getaway: Accommodating up to 4 guests, this family-friendly apartment offers a Queen Size bed in 1 bedroom, an extendable sofa in the living room, TV, and a private bathroom. Saxon house from 1851 restored in 2021. IG or FB: bed and wine transylvania King size beds, turntable (vinyl player), espresso machine and bottle of wine on the house. Coffee and cold breakfast with local products is included in the price. Nemșa village is isolated in a beautiful natural landscape, but 15 min. away by car from Mediaș city, also very close to Biertan and Richiș villages. In Nemșa you can visit also the historical Evangelical Church built at the end of XIV century.
