This farm runs sheep & cattle, therefore shearing, lambing, weaning, drenching, draughting, training sheep dogs & horses, are operating throughout the year. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Modern and light, 2 year old holiday house. Beach vibes, warm and comfortable. Views and decking on north and south (sea) aspects. Walk down the track to the beach or hang at the river with kayaks. Safe, flat family friendly beach. Rock pools to explore, fossil hunting galore. Excellent fishing, diving and wildlife from and beyond the coast. Playground, tennis courts and petanque available. 20 mins to local wineries.

Shearers Quarters on farm, Motunau Beach Rd

On a farm but just a few mins off SH1 and from the beach. Simple yet cosy & comfortable and loved by our family. Ideal for time out, wedding accommodation or a stop over. Handy to local wedding venue 4km away. Just $135 for 1 person (except peak season), thereafter each person is $45 pp and children $40 (we adjust once booked). Prices intentionally kept low so anyone can come here. No wifi inside this building, however, there is from close nearby.

Cosy Motunau Cottage

Warm, cosy and comfortable cottage, situated near the peaceful Motunau village, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. Private outdoor space. Spectacular views over the ocean and plenty of room to turn a boat. We are an hour north of Christchurch, 30min from the Hurunui Mouth taking the scenic route and close to great local wineries. Beach access is 2km from the cottage. Guests are welcome to walk in our gully or interact with our alpacas.

This house is amazing, it is situated in Cass Bay, a quiet Bay overlooking Lyttelton Harbour, a short 20min drive from Christchurch CBD. It's great for families & also groups. On it's backdoor steps are world class walks, beaches & mountain bike tracks. It is a 5 min drive to Lyttelton, a very cool suburb overlooking the harbour with cool bars & restaurants known for it's music scene.
