Acadia National Park ocean front & garden cottages

Both our houses are designed in the contemporary style. We used custom made decor and cherry tree furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open space are inside the house. It is very quiet outside. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house. It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to the main local attractions. You'll be amazed of our botanical garden and landscape.

Old Acadia Ranger Yurt at Long Pond

Newly Constructed. Old Acadia Ranger Yurt, a 25 ft. Yurt nestled in the pine and maple forest 1/4 mile from Long Pond and Acadia National Park hiking trails. New construction includes a full bath with a large walk-in shower, kitchen with gas stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, dinette table w/ seating. Bedding includes, 1 Queen sized bed, 1-fold down double couch, Queen bed in loft, and 1 rollaway cot. Towels and bedding provided. Four (4) guests only (no exceptions). Pets are not permitted.

The Cabins at Currier Landing, featured in Dwell as “Three Magical Tiny Cabins Take Root in a Maine Forest,” are located on the Thos. Currier Saltwater Farm. Glimpses of water & access to 300’ of the Benjamin River Harbor shore. 2 seasonal cabins; 1 studio cabin. Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula near Deer Isle, the cabins offer access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.

Perched on a granite cliff, this thoughtfully designed little home provides for your every need. For anything else, take the ten minute stroll into the village, where you'll find plenty of local shops and restaurants. You can access the water via a set of stairs leading from the property to the shoreline. End your days on the deck and keep your eyes peeled for seals!

Lamoine Modern Guest House

Relax, recharge, & escape here. A unique & peaceful guest house in the woods of Lamoine, Maine with large windows (without coverings) looking out to the woods. Close enough to Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park (45 min) but removed from the chaos. A 10-minute walk down a gravel road to a beach in Lamoine with distant views of Acadia National Park. Enjoy all weather with our new wood stove fireplace surrounded by large windows. We have a comprehensive guidebook for our guests upon check-in.

Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights all year. Enjoy Acadia National Park. 1885 home and grounds are a mixture of old farmhouse and updated design/functioning. In Somesville Village (on a main road) with Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor minutes away. The house has a kitchen with dining area, 3 bedrooms, and 1 bath. We are year round residents and love to share our home ,garden, field and woods.

Birdhouse cabin in Acadia, 5 minute walk into town

Charming 3 bedroom, 1 bath traditional wooden cabin situated on 8 acres in Southwest Harbor. Walk into town easily for restaurants, galleries and groceries. Or walk to the town dock for an adventure to another island. Ferries leave daily to explore outer areas. Acadia easily explored from here, with parts of Southwest Harbor National park land. Located by the Giant Slide Trail and bordering Acadia National Park the nature enthusiast will enjoy the comfort and central location of this cottage on Mt. Desert Island. Making touring in Acadia easy with trails, sites, and Bar Harbor within easy access. Walk right from the cottage to access the carriage roads and the Giant Slide Trail which leads up Sargeant Mountain.
