Located in the village of Cardrona by the River Tweed the apartment is ideally located for mountain biking at Glentress Forest (1.5m) fishing on the Tweed, and walking some of Scotland's most stunning countryside. The apartment intersects the recently opened Tweed Valley Railway cycle path providing easy access by bike to Peebles and Innerleithen.

When the sun is shining you can enjoy the private outdoor seating area. Otherwise, enjoy the fire and bask in cosiness. Our rural location on a cycle route just outside the historic market town of Biggar brings privacy, stunning views, and great walks like Coulter Fell or Tinto. We recommend bringing a car (Biggar is a 15-minute walk away), parking is provided.

Compact studio room created from a former mews stables with living, sleeping and kitchen areas in one space, close to Haymarket Station and the airport tram. Princes Street and the Dean Village and art galleries are 10 minutes walk away (0.5miles), the Conference Centre is 5 minutes walk away (0.25miles) and the Castle and Old Town are 20 minutes walk (1mile). There are numerous excellent restaurants and pubs in the vicinity, and for rugby fans Murrayfield is a 22 minute walk away (1.1miles).

Bring boots or bikes and head off from your own door. We’re situated close to the A702 making us a convenient stop over if you’re traveling up or down the country.

This artist and architect-designed house is clad in larch and well insulated with wool felts. The access to the separate loft of our eco-house is via an external staircase. A large south facing window in the main room overlooks the woodland garden and Shiplaw burn. There is a workspace/single bedroom for an extra guest. We are located within one of the biggest habitat restoration projects in Europe and are five minutes walk from a regular bus service to Edinburgh and across the Borders.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.
