Awaken in a luxury king size bed and slide open the garage door to sweeping views of the Smokies. Enjoy coffee on the deck. Fully furnished bed and bath, AC/Heat and kitchenette. Pets permitted $40/first pet $20/each additional pet. Area is fenced. Listen to the river while lying in the in-deck hammock. The perfect stage for a restful afternoon or night time stargazing. High Calling

High Calling is the lower level of a home on Cataloochee Mountain, at 4300’ elevation. Enjoy the panoramic views year round from a private covered porch or around the fire pit as you relax with the peaceful sound of the creek below. A charcoal grill is also provided. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with one full bed and one twin bed face mountain views. A sitting area with a television and games, kitchenette and coffee station are provided, along with snacks and drinks.

The Lighthouse at Hunkerdown Hollow provides a waterfront experience at the base of the Smoky Mountains. This unique lodging brings you up close to the natural beauty of the Douglas lake resevoir. Or if you are exploring the area then it is the perfect home base for adventures in the mountains or to Asheville for breweries, dining or shopping.

Take a hot bath in our outdoor clawfoot tub and enjoy the sounds of the rushing creek. Try out the sauna and cold plunge in the creek! Just a 25 minute easy drive to Asheville. Rustic esthetic with modern amenities like Wifi and air conditioning! Pet friendly.
